Ivanna
"Where are you going?", the stranger inquires.
"No.. Nowhere", I stammer, being confused about what I should answer. He keeps looking at me with his strange gaze which is making me uncomfortable with every passing second.
"Babe", I hear Christian's voice as he joins me, holding my waist. I feel relieved to get him by my side. I don't have a habit of meeting people, especially strangers haunt me. "Good Evening, Mr Adavan", he greets the stranger.
"Good evening, Christian", Adavan smirks as he finally drives his eyes away from me. I sigh, he better not to do that again. I'm not gonna stay here if he keeps doing it.
"Here's my girlfriend Ivanna", he squeezes my shoulder.
"Amazing", he raises his eyebrows while looking at me again. However, I lower my glance. "You both are amazing", he adds.
"Thank you. And Ivanna, he is Mr Adavan Gomez, founder of this association. He is a great musician and a great person", Christian introduces him to me but I remain silent. "Ivanna", Christian jerks me. "Greet him", he whispers as I uncomfortably look at Adavan.
"H..hi", I stammer.
"Nice to meet you", he offers me a handshake. To save the courtesy, I accept it. He squeezes my hand lightly as I shiver, then he leans to my hand and places a kiss. I immediately pull out my hands from his grip. He shows no reaction.
"Relax, it's a formal one", Christian holds my shoulder but I'm clueless about what to say, how to react. I try to ignore eye contact with him.
"Sorry. Actually, she doesn't meet new people frequently. So she was a little nervous", Christian clarifies to Adavan on behalf of me.
"I understood. She'll learn to meet new people gradually", his eyes are still on me and I can realise that without even looking at him. "I think you didn't have clothes to wear for this occasion Ms Ivanna", he asks.
"Nothing like that", I immediately protest. "I was just in hurry", I lie.
"You didn't need to be. There's plenty of time left to start the actual event. If you don't mind, you can change", he offers me.
"I didn't bring my clothes", I reply, looking sideways.
"We have a bunch of outfits here Ms Ivanna. You can have one", he says as he takes a drink from the counter next to us.
"No, that's fine", I get surprised by his proposal. Why is he showing so much concern for me? I'm just a girlfriend of a student of his firm. That's it.
"If you've come to an event, you should dress like the theme at least to save the event's dignity", he announces in his heavy husky voice.
"I think you should try it", Christian tells me. I look at him in disbelief. "Don't worry. I told you he is a great man. He is concerned about what people think about your outfit. I think we shouldn't turn him down like this", he whispers near my ears.
I guess he is right. Just because I'm an introvert that doesn't mean he's a wrong guy. I've made myself a dumb bitch who can't even talk properly. I've shown enough stupidity before him. I should stop now.
"Sure", I mumble.
"Great", he signals someone behind me with his finger. A middle-aged lady came to me.
"Come ma'am. I'll take you to the changing room", she says. I shake my head and leave the place with her.
She brings me into a tiny room at the corner of the cottage. It was full of event worthy clothes. She goes near the cupboard and brings out a long red gown which had a massive deep neck. Moreover, I don't like red.
"You'll wear this", she says. What? Why is she telling me what I should wear? She should show me some more clothes or else ask me if I want to wear it or not.
"Show me more. I don't like red", I say in a blank tone.
"You'll wear this. It's Sir's order", she announces. I look at her in disbelief. Who the heck is he to decide what I should wear? But I don't wanna create a scene here. For Christian's sake, I unwillingly take the dress from her and wear it. After that, she comes to me and does my makeup. She changes me completely into another person. When I look at myself in the mirror I can't recognize myself. What the heck am I doing? Getting myself ready on a stranger's order? And why is he being so nosy? I'm not satisfied with my look, still, I wear a fake smile for Christian. For the first time, he brought me somewhere. I don't wanna embarrass him.
I make my way to the hall. The lights have gone dim, pianos are being played, few couples are dancing on the floor. A big ray of white lights falls on me as I arrive there. I immediately close my eyes because the light has hit my face. I try to open my eyes gradually when Adavan's face flashes in front of me. He is closer than the first time to me. His brown eyes roam around my body structure, from up to down. I feel a little awkward since my cleavage is visible and some portion of my boobs has revealed too much. Why did he pick so revealing dress for me? What are his intentions?
"Sexy", he mutters, looking at me with his desire filled eyes.
"What?", I exclaim loudly.
"You look sexy as hell", he doesn't change his statement that makes me more shocked. How can he call me 'sexy'? I look away in discomfort when Christian joins us.
"Aah! Someone's looking breathtaking", he places a kiss on my cheek. My eyes automatically go to Adavan. He is looking at us with his expressionless look and taking sips of his drink.
"Thank you", I smile at him. "But it's too revealing. I hope you don't have any problem"
"Why would I have any problem? You look gorgeous in everything", he runs his hand on my hairs.
"Stop! Don't touch her hairs", suddenly Adavan spits out. I and Christian look at him in surprise. I can't be more shocked. Who is he to stop my boyfriend from touching my hairs?
Ivanna"Excuse me?", I bark while Christian is still confused with his behaviour. "You have just styled your hairs. They shouldn't get ruined", Adavan finishes his drink. Now he is getting on my nerves. I have just met him 30 minutes ago and he is behaving the way as if he owns me. I don't mind Christian touching my hairs or anywhere in my body. But I do have a problem with Adavan making me feel uncomfortable. "You don't need to worry about my hairs. And it doesn't look good to speak between a couple. I hope you know that", I harshly tell him, shooting him a glare. But he smiles mysteriously. Is he a psychopath or what? "Baby, that's ok. Don't be hyper", Christian pats my back. Adavan leaves the place taking another glass fro
Ivanna"Sorry. I didn't get you", Christian says in a confused tone. "Chris!", I grab his shoulder. "Should we leave now?" "Yeah. But we…" "Please, don't take more time. I'm feeling sleepy", I tell him, trying to ignore Adavan as much as I can. "Ok. I need to take your leave", Christian tells Adavan. "Sure. See you soon", Adavan shakes his hand with Christian then turn to me. "Sleep well, Ivanna"I look at him for the last time and walk away with Christian. I walk faster to leave that place as soon as possible. I don't wanna see his creepy face ever in my life again. We walk to the car and Christian opens the door for me. I hurriedly get inside and fasten the seatbelt.&nbs
IvannaA new morning, a new day, a new hope but the same old schedule of mine. I'm tired of all shit. I'm hating weekdays now. There was a time when I used to hate weekends because it kept me away from my school, friends and obviously Christian. I send a 'Good Morning' message to him before leaving the bed. And yeah, now I love weekends since it gives me some rest. My last weekend ended with a horrible experience in the firm. Thankfully, Christian was there for me. Otherwise, I would've died there. While thinking about it Adavan's face flashes into my mind. Ugh! His creepy face. I don't wanna imagine. I better focus on my classes now.I put my casual outfit and get ready for college. Meanwhile, mum calls me to have breakfast. I rush to the dining room with my backpack.
Ivanna "What?", I scream at Christian on the call. "They dumped my dress? Are you kidding me?"I realise I'm in the classroom and everyone is looking at me since I yelled inside the classroom like an idiot. "I'm sorry", Christian mutters. "I didn't know they would do something like this", his voice shakes. "Why are you being sorry? I had told you to leave hurriedly. It was my stupidity that I didn't change. Moreover, what kind of behaviour is this? How can they throw away my dress? They forced me to change, they have no right to do something like this", I am fum
AdavanIt was unexpected for me to see her in front of my eyes. She has worn a black sleeveless top and blue denim shorts. The first thing that caught my eyes when I saw her was her milky white smooth legs. I couldn't see them last night as she had worn a gown. She becomes nervous, seeing me in front of her. I step towards her as she drops her clothes on the floor in nervousness. "I'm…sorry", she stammers as her smooth pink lips tremble in trepidation. "I didn't know it's your room"I keep walking towards her, losing myself again in her breathtaking beauty. She nervously steps behind. My legs stumble upon her clothes and I go on my knees to take them. She keeps staring at me ner
IvannaI come out of my dream world and drive his hands away from me. His offer has made me happy enough still, I'm not sure if I will be able to do that or not. I leave the chair and face him. "Can I get some time? I don't have spare time in my schedule so, I'll have to manage my time table", I tell him as he passes me a reactionless look. It doesn't look good to keep an offer pending when you're getting it without any trouble. However, in my case, it's totally different. "Sure, take your time", he tells me. "But make sure you don't make a delay since it's a short time offer for you", he reminds. "I'll let you know as
AdavanHer voice sounds no less than music, not even my instruments soothe me like this. "Mr Adavan", she exclaims, being surprised. "How did you get my number?" "That's not important, Iva", I say in a husky voice, trying to avoid the question since I don't want her to know that I am spying on her. "It's Ivanna. I don't like short forms of my name", she opposes, making me furious from inside. I don't care what she likes to be called or not. She is my Iva. And I'll keep calling her that. "And I don't like long names, hard to enunciate", I shrug, controlling my words. "It's not that difficult to enunciat
AdavanI swallow my anger, trying to stay calm as much as I can. Doesn't she know how much beautiful she looks in red? Why doesn't she listen to me? I can imagine her milky white skin matching the shade of red. She will look no less than a Goddess. Never mind. Now I'm here to make her realize that. She will see the best version of her through my eyes. I smirk, looking at her and climb out of the car.As soon as I hit the ground, people near me stop walking as they get frozen after discovering me there. I hear all the college girls chanting and whispering my name but my eyes remain stick to her. The way she is walking towards me is glueing my eyes to her.Meanwhile, a crowd of people rush towards me with their phones and paper for photographs and autogra
