Ivanna
"This girl!", I shrug, throwing my phone away. Ava isn't picking up my calls. What kind of behaviour is this? I thought we would be preparing together for our upcoming test. But she vanished suddenly.
Moving to my bed, I take my laptop and type a resignation letter. Though I'm still not getting good vibes, I make myself determined to do that. I had been pessimistic throughout my life, I could never do anything without having negative thoughts. Therefore, it would be my stupidity if I burden myself with negative thoughts again. Darn! I did a couple of spelling mistakes. What the heck am I doing? I erase the application and type it again. Meanwhile, my phone rings.
"Chris!", I beam, without looking at the mobile screen. He always calls me this hour.
AdavanI wanted to whack her more for uttering this shit. She falls on the ground and her hairs spread all over her face. She struggles to get up but her hands were tied with thick rope. A strain of blood scatters down to her brims. l'll show her whom she messed with. Clutching her hairs in my fists I pull her close to me. She breaths heavily, trying hard to rescue herself from my grip. "Shut the fuck up", I rumble, finding my voice getting horrifying with every passing second. "She is mine. Did you hear me?", I roar near her face, shooting her scary glare as I witness her shivering in fear. It worked. Now, she will think a thousand times before uttering rubbish on my face. "Tell me. Come on! Repeat. Repeat what I said", I urge to hear it, tightening my grip as she hisses.
AdavanRemoving the curtain from my face, I reach the balcony, sensing the cold breeze stroking against my skin. I peer at the sight around my massive firm. I can only see rows of trees, plopping with one another. When I acquired this vast land it was only a big piece of jungle, covered with wild trees and bushes. I've accomplished every possible thing that I wanted within the past few years. I thought there was the end of my satisfaction since I have everything a common man yearns for. However, things weren't the same from the day I saw Iva. The only pretty lady survived on the earth. Now, I think I've got something new to acquire. It's Iva.I can still remember the moment when she was in front of me, closing her eyes, enjoying the melody. But she looked sexier when she wore the dress I asked her
AdavanI wanted to yank off the metal railing and slam it on that bloody Christian's head when he dared to touch her. My eyes yearned to see his bloodshed body. If I knew one day he would be the biggest obstacle between me and my passion, I would've shoved him away from the earth. I shrug, sitting two hundred meters away from them. "Master, would you have some coffee?", Robert blabs, trying to distract me from the view. "I want his blood", my fierce gaze wanders upon them. They are laughing together as if it is a place of their so-called romance. The way Iva normalised Christian's gestures it shocked me. How can she tolerate him doing all this to her like a slut? "Master!",
"Yes, mom. I'll be late", I tell her on call as I step out of the car. I can hear the noise from the concert, standing 200 meters away. Christian hops down and stands beside me."But you said you wouldn't go to your work from now", she says in a concern filled voice. "And what's this noise about?""I'm at a concert, mom. I'll be late. Don't worry about me", I raise my voice so that she can hear me."Really? You're in a concert?", she sounds shocked and excited at the same time."Yes, some of my college friends are here", I roll my eyes. "Don't wait for me. I'll have my dinner""That's good. I'm glad you're trying to meet people", she beams. "Take care and be careful"
IvannaI was wondering how I said YES to him without thinking for a minute. Maybe, just because he looked less scary tonight or maybe because I loved his voice. I can't deny that I came to be his fan after the concert.I see him opening the door of the car for me. Now, It's too late to resist him."Bye, Ivanna", Siza says in an envious voice."Have fun", Piyali chuckles. What the heck she meant by 'have fun'? I wanted to ask her that but I find Adavan waiting for me, standing near the door. I bid them and walk towards him. He passes me a warm smile as I stop by him."Well, that's not needed. My home is in the opposite direction", I tell him.&n
IvannaHis sudden apology leaves me into surprise. I swallow the remaining piece of pizza somehow, looking at him with my elevated eyes. Did he apologise? I ask myself again. Yes, he did, which I never expected. I can't find words to emit. Putting my hands on my lap, I peer at him."That's.. completely fine", I mumble, trying to pass a smile, widening my lips."No, that's not", he lowers his gaze, shoving the plate aside. He has left half of his food on the plate. I wanted to say something. But who will mess with a sleeping lion? I can't trust him. What if he again swaps!"I don't know how to behave with people. 20 years!", he sighs. "I'm living alone for fucking 20 years!"I can s
IvannaMom is watching television after we finished dinner. I'm sitting beside her, looking at the television set without any attention. My mind is being loaded with tons of thoughts with every passing second. I wonder if I did a mistake by leaving my job. Though Adavan didn't come across me at the classes today, I didn't feel like to be anywhere near him. The whole day passed, but I'm still trying to forget that bitter experience. His words are still pinching my ears, making me regret on my decision."Will you open the door?", mom jerks me as I come out of my thoughts."W..what?", I mumble, moving a bit on the couch."Didn't you hear? Someone is on the door", she says, leaving the remote beside me. "Anyway, you sit here. I'll check"
IvannaI get shocked when I find him holding my cup. What is he doing with that?"I was just seeing it", he says. "It's adorable", he points at the teddy bear drawn on it. It surprises me as he never behaves like that. But who even cares? He'll be the same creepy, arrogant man after a while. He puts my mug on the table and takes the pot of sugar. He adds a half spoon of extra sugar and stirs it."You shouldn't vent the anger on your classes, Iva", he says, taking a sip from his coffee. "I was at fault. You could've come to me and emit your anger. Don't ruin your sessions""I was actually having a headache", I shrug as he looks at me surprisingly.
