28th August 1999Aanya's POV: Some people are excited and giddy to be the centre of attention whereas there are some people who would rather have sharp objects thrown at your heart than be the centre of attention. Yes, I am the latter. It kills me every milli-second knowing someone has got their eyes on me. It almost like your privacy and freedom is stripped away from you. I mean I couldn't possibly imagine the pressure famous people get from always being under the microscopic lense of the whole world.Minutes trickled by as all of them sat inside trying to decide what the best course of action is while I sat on the outside waiting for them to call me in. Its been 30 mins. "Aanya come in," Mason called out from the room. Finally. I took a deep inhale and exhaled before standing upand walking towards the door. As I approach it, the bodyguard beside the door holds the door open for me. I walk in and notcie all three of the sitting around the top of the meeting table. Before I could
31st August 1999Aanya's POV:Later that day, after I walked out of that building, I went to the hospital to visit my father and let him know about the engagement and marriage before it hits the news. It would be an understatement to say the least that he was angry and disappointed that I hid this from him for so long. He questioned me FBI mode to know about my future husband. 2 days later, I was packed and ready right on time when the driver came to pick me up and dropped me off at the airport. I was not supposed to suprised by the fact we were going to fly on a private plane but it still suprised me.Mason and William were standing in front of Evan while he had his back to me. They were all speaking about something serious. I did some research on William. His last name is Carter. Graduated top of his year from University of Lorgan for Law and Business. He is 25 years old. He has his own law firm, Crestmark Partners, which only has 7 lawyers in total and is run by all 7 of them in eq
1st October 1999Aanya's POV: After the first little confrontation with Dani, I had never seen her back in the house. Although, in her absence, Chloe took up that job and has contiued to express her displeasure over the matter, making snide remarks or subtly undermining me whenever possible. I also got to spend more time with Amara, Amyra and Analeigha. Analeigh Stevens, 26 years old. She is beautiful with brown eyes and blonde hair. Analeigh and Ryker had a business-arranged marriage a few years ago and their children were 2 years old now, but I can see it in Ana eyes that she loves her husband – the sparkle in her eyes says a lot. The kids, Zandra got her looks from her mother and Zander got his looks from his father. Amara and Amyra Rodriguez, 19 years old, they got their looks from their mother. Amyra is doing law and Amara is a designer and both of them are in their first year university right now. Some of Evan's cousins and aunts might be sceptical of the engagement, possibly
Aanya's POV: We finally reached the hall, the reception hall. It was small with stage in the middle, an arc on top of where the bride and groom are supposed to sit for the pictures that are to be taken and tables around us for the guest to eat and enjoy, hopefully. I changed my dress into a peach strapless dress that reached my ankles it had a same colour cloak short covering my shoulder. The makeup artist re-touched my make lightly. And let my hair fall down free. Business partners, friends and relatives kept coming with gifts and other things congratulating both of us. “Mom!! Maria!!” “Hello darling, congratulations. My baby has grown up.” “Congratulations Sis!!” “Thanks. I am glad both of you could make it.” They moved to talk to Evan. To be honest I was not expecting them to come, although I sent an invitation. I haven’t talked to them in ages, years even. Soon it was time to eat. The bride, groom and their family together is supposed to sit together in one table. ‘
Aanya's POV: We took the last picture with our family and friends and said goodbye to everyone. Evan insisted that we had to return today itself. So we are flying back to Loncor today itself. When we reached the airport, I din't waste anytime and got in the plane, went to the back to get out fo the dress and wear something comfortable. I took my matching green pair of t-shirt and shorts and wore them. After folding and putting everything back neatly, I went back to the front and sat down where I last sat down. Evan came in a few minutes later and the flight attendent closed the doors. The pilot announced our departure in a few minutes. On of the flight attendant came and asked both me and Evan if we wanted something to eat or drink. We both said what we wanted. Later when we were on the air, the flight attendant came with what we asked for.2 and half hour ride was pretty eventless with me struggling to sleep and Evan head deep in work. When we touched ground in Loncor, I turned to
2nd October 1999Aanya's POV:I noticed how Stasia didn't question the fact that both of us needed separate room. I turned my gaze back to Evan's bedroom door. "Stasia, you mentioned that no one is alowed inside Evan's room. Is that a strict rule?""Its a strict rule. Not even I have stepped foot inside that bedroom. That room is like his sanctuary. Of course, since you are his wife you are exempt from that rule." I gave her an awkward smile. She knows something is up, doesn't she?Stasia led me back to the kitchen so that she could feed me my breakfast. We arrived in the kitchen and she had me sit in one of the bar stools. "It is usually quiet after Mr Rodriguez goes to the office" she said"What time does he usually leave?""He wakes up early and leaves an hour or half-an-hour later""So, how long have you been working for Evan?""I have been with that child from his adolescence. His own past is like an onion. So many layers, and peeling back that layers is not easy. Never seen a p
Aanya’s POV: Today was a hectic day, the café just got busier as the day went on and now I am in Ryan’s car which he insisted I get into so he can drop me off. I did not argue, not one bit. We talked the whole way. My whole life I had difficulties interacting with boys which resulted in me not having boyfriends it was a bit hard for Ryan but eventually, he succeeded and we both became best friends then came Charlotte. Ryan never really liked her – I have no idea why. He just said when he meets someone new can instantly recognise if they are good or not. Might be a sixth sense. Cool!!! To be honest, although Charlotte was there for me in a hard time. I felt like there was something odd about her. Especially in the past months, she has been a bit weird. It’s like she is seeing someone in secret. I want to know if she is okay or not but I will wait till she says it willingly. It was around 6:30 pm when Ryan dropped me off and the house was pitch black except for the driveway and porch
Aanya’s POV: Ibantos is amazing. The culture, the people, the food, the monument, the different places, it’s just too beautiful. Some might say I am a bit too biased in my opinion about Ibantos since I was born there and the first 10 years of my life were spent in that single country except for the first six months after I was born. I lived in Cerria since my father moved there for his job. After some time we went back to India to my mother’s home town and lived there till my brother was born. After he was born we went to my father’s home town. Personally, I preferred my mother’s home town because… just yeah, I just preferred it. The most wonderful thing I love about Ibantos is the food. The spicy food, street food, and evening snacks. Just mouth-watering. And today here I am in Deria, well on my way to at least, a small city to the south of Ibantos.Evan’s card is now short of at least £100000. Sucks for him. Evan Rodriguez should have never belittled me. The day after our little “c
