When I get back to the castle, I collapse onto my bed. I’m so exhausted that I don’t even bother pulling off my clothes or my shoes. The next morning, I wake as usual and drag myself to training. It’s been too long since I’ve spoken to Lily. The pull of the mate bond is almost impossible to ignore.
