Chapter 41 – It's None of Your Business

By the end of that week, Edan was feeling hopeless, problems starting to pile up.

At first, Alma continued with the same elusive attitude.

Second, Edan's visit with Vivian to a new doctor had not yielded the expected result and had corroborated it... Vivian was pregnant.

And third, Erick insisted that Edan organize the family dinner, which was a problem.

There was no way to tell Alma that Erick had met Ricardo and suggested dinner, without telling her that Ricardo himself had visited Edan in his office.

And although at first, Edan did not want Alma to find out about the recent business relationship she had made with Ricardo, that had now changed.

What was Ricardo doing visiting Edan in his office? Alma would ask questions and Edan knew he couldn't lie to her, he had to tell her the truth, and that same weekend, he planned to do so.
