As night falls, the city is wrapped in a silent darkness. Deep beneath the bustling streets lies an unseen world that most cannot perceive. Alex moved through the dimly lit tunnels that wind under the city, leading to a secret destination known only by those who dwell in the shadows.
Although Alex's mind was buzzing with countless questions regarding his encounter with the astral creature, he couldn't ignore the summons from the lords of the night. He knew that a part of him also belonged to them.
His eyes kept darting back and forth, unable to resist the tension and excitement inside the secret chamber. As a highly perceptive being, Alex was acutely aware of the charged atmosphere. A multitude of vampires inhabited a dimly lit gathering, with only candlelight revealing their uniquely shaped features.
Murmurs of their desires, laden with undisclosed intentions and aspirations, emerged softly like the gentle night breeze. Amidst the commotion, Alex sat as a guest, serene and poised.
Yes, Alex was often invited into the midst of them - the undead - when things happened that disturbed their peace. Alex always thought that his presence here was representative of the human race. Considering that he was half-blood. Because it was impossible to include humans in a meeting of vampires. The misdeeds of the humans would instead become food for the vampires who could not control their bloodlust.
Alex turned his attention back to his surroundings. His sharp gaze searched every face present. He knew that in this dark gathering, every word and gesture had a deeper meaning than what met the eye. And if Alex had lost his way, there was no guarantee that he would leave this place alive.
Alex's eyes were now fixed on the two central figures that dominated the atmosphere - Lucius Bloodthorn, the leader of the Rival Vampire Clan, and Damian Nightshade, the leader of the Ancient Vampire Clan. Alex knew this familiar atmosphere by heart, where the presence of the two central figures always created an increasingly tense atmosphere.
"This argument has gone on far too long," Lucius said sarcastically, his voice sounding like the wind in the silence. "Must we really waste time discussing the trivial actions of a novice vampire?"
Damian glared at Lucius, his green eyes shining with a mysterious light. "You really know how to complicate a situation, don't you, Lucius? But this action is not just any action. It threatens the balance that has been maintained for hundreds of years."
"Come on, old man! You know very well that this is nothing more than a new vampire who cannot control his appetite. So what's the fuss about? Once he gets a grip on himself, he will stop of his own accord!" Lucius interjected lightly.
"I knew you were stupid, Lucius! But I didn't think you'd be this stupid! You can only assume that this is the work of a novice vampire. Did you not see how long this incident lasted and how many victims there were? This is beyond the wild limits of a novice vampire. This is more like a vampire out of control. A vampire who is a professional but can't control himself." Damian pressed.
The two vampire leaders looked at each other, the feeling of hatred between them was palpable. But why did they still seem to hold their own? Perhaps the answer lay in their wisdom. The wisdom that kept them from looking ridiculous in front of their followers should a fight break out in the room.
"Cih!!! I don't know where you're going with that old man! You want to blame our clan, don't you? You're really playing a dirty game. We in the Rival Clan know very well that you and your clan are not as pure as you make them out to be. And when it comes to who is behind all this, I think all we have to do is prove that the white-bearded vampire's clan is not responsible," Lucius accused bluntly.
"How dare you accuse my clan of this?" Damian fumed in a fiery tone. He knew, of course, that the white-bearded man had to be him.
The tension in the room instantly skyrocketed after Damian and Lucius' outbursts. But it was no wonder, for the rivalry between the two clans had existed since time immemorial. The relationship that looked good from the outside was nothing more than a thin thread that could snap at any moment. And yes! Look at that! In an instant, things heated up.
"I'm not accusing anyone, please prove that you and your clan are not the masterminds behind all this!" Lucius' retort was no less sharp.
"You still dare to deny your words!!!" Said Damian became furious. He even stood up and pounded the table.
At that moment, the meeting almost turned into a fierce battle between the two clans. Accusations flew back and forth. Explosive anger could be heard here and there. Fortunately, Alex's voice cut through like a sharp knife. "Enough!" His word shook the room and made all heads turn towards him. "We all know that arguing like this won't help. We need to find a solution together, not blame each other." He said, finally finding the courage to speak. Alex did not want to get involved, but if he was allowed to, he might die stupidly. And he certainly did not want to die foolishly in the midst of two large vampire clans ready to attack each other. That was why the courage came out of Alex.
"You must understand, this is not the time to accuse and confront each other. What you should be thinking about is how to find out who did this so that the killing can stop. You don't want everything you've organised to fall apart because of this, do you? So stop arguing.”
The two clan leaders looked at each other thoughtfully. Damian finally nodded, and Lucius followed with a somewhat reluctant expression. "Very well," Damian said in agreement. "We will combine our efforts to find this murderous vampire." Damian said firmly.
"Thieves want to pretend to be cops! I can't trust hypocritical vampires like them!" Lucius interjected sharply.
Alex raised his hand and immediately silenced all the vampires. "If the noble Lucius Bloodthorn is still stubborn, then we are going nowhere! We will stay here!"
There was silence for a moment. Seeing that the atmosphere was getting under control, Damian took the initiative to propose a solution that might end their dispute. "All right, if his Excellency Lucius doesn't want to cooperate with me! I think I have a better solution! Let me present my idea! I have a proposal," he said in a low but firm voice.
Everyone's eyes fell on Damian, including Alex, who was curious to know what his plan was. Lucius looked at him sceptically but decided to give him a chance to speak.
"How about we ask someone who specialises in investigating such things to take care of everything!" Damian continued confidently. "Someone who has a greater insight into the human world, but who can also understand our world. Someone who has a reputation as a goblin world detective."
Alex was surprised by Damian's suggestion. He felt that all eyes were on him now.
Everything Alex had said earlier was pure from his desire not to die stupidly in this place. That was why he had opened his voice to appease both clans. He had never thought that he would be involved in the conflict between the two clans.
"You mean... me?" Alex nodded slowly, confirming Damian's words. "You want me to investigate this case?"
"Yes," Damian replied firmly. "We need someone who can gather evidence carefully and objectively. You've proven yourself in solving cases before. And most importantly, you have a neutral position between the two of us."
Lucius still looked doubtful, but Damian continued excitedly, "We can work together. You will have our support and we will give you all the information you need. Together we can find out who exactly is behind the murders," he said wisely as usual.
"Otherwise a big war between the two clans might be inevitable." Damian continued, this time sounding more like a threat.
Alex, feeling himself backed into a corner by the ancient vampire clan leader's idea, was finally forced to agree to it. And as a first step, he had to make it clear that he did not want any clan involved in his investigation unless he had to. As a detective, Alex saw these two clans as the prime suspects. They were the only two clans he knew. And the murderer of the humans was definitely a vampire. So if he was not from the old vampire clan, then he was definitely from the rival vampire clan. And vice versa. It was better to take precautions beforehand in order to guard against all possibilities.
"Alright! But on one condition! I want to work alone as usual! Only when I need something from you can you enter my work area! How about it?"
Damian and Lucius nodded in agreement. "No problem!" they both said at different times.
"Then this case falls under my jurisdiction! And as for payment, you must have memorised my rates!" said Alex as he stood up and put on his favourite hat, a sign that he was leaving.
Don't worry about payment! We of the ancient vampiric clans have plenty of gold to give you! Damian said humbly.
"I'm glad to hear that! Nice doing business with you." Alex left the secret meeting place.
HI guys! Don't forget to leave any comment in this chapter. Let me know, you like my story or not... Happy reading.
Time passes and the human victims continue to fall. But Alex still hasn't found out who the bloodthirsty vampire really is. What clan was he really from? Was he from the ancient vampire clan? Or a rival clan? If the vampire was from the Ancient Vampire Clan, Alex somehow doubted it. The Ancient Vampire Clan was a respectable vampire clan that had coexisted with humans for hundreds of years. Even when Alex appeared in this world, it had already been that way. It seemed unlikely that they were behind all these murders. On the contrary, the rival vampire clan's wild and unruly behaviour had led Alex's thoughts to them. Moreover, their leader's obnoxious attitude - accusing the ancient leader of the vampire clan - really made Alex suspicious. Alex also marked the rival vampire clan in his notebook. "Don't let my hunch be right," he muttered and closed the book. Amidst the AC and DC electricity running through Alex's brain, Alex's doorbell suddenly rang. "Isn't that Evelyn Stirling?" th
Night falls slowly, plunging the city into darkness. Alex and Liam stood at the door of the dark and silent art gallery. The overcast sky hid the moon and stars, adding a mysterious atmosphere to the night. The two men looked at each other, trying to hide the slight nervousness in their eyes. "Can I get out of here?" Liam asked in a hesitant tone. Alex shook his head, "It's too late to back out!" he said, actually regretting taking on this case. Somehow his instincts told him that the creatures playing here were not on the same level as the ones he was used to dealing with before. Especially after the case in the restaurant the other day, when he had been confronted with a supernatural creature with strong energy, Alex was even more cautious in his search. With cautious steps, Alex and Liam slowly opened the heavy gallery door. An atmosphere of silence and stillness greeted them as they entered the room. Their breathing was clearly audible in the stillness of the night. The flashlig
After leaving the gallery and returning to Evelyn's house, the atmosphere became more relaxed. They sat in the living room, by the fireplace, where a warm fire was burning. The room was filled with beautiful paintings, creating an atmosphere typical of an art gallery. Alex looked around and then asked Evelyn, "How long has your gallery had something like this, Evelyn?" Fiddling with the pen in his hand, Alex looked at Evelyn with his focused eyes.Evelyn sighed and thought for a moment before answering, "It's actually been going on for a few months now. At first I didn't take it too seriously, thinking it might just be a hallucination of mine. But the longer it goes on, the more real it becomes. And it's getting scarier and scarier.Liam, who was sitting next to Alex after sipping his tea, looked at Evelyn curiously. Then, as if he did not want to lose to Alex, he also asked Evelyn a question. "Why do you think this happened?"Evelyn looked down for a moment, seemingly considering wha
Alex and Liam looked at each other as if they had the same answer. Alex and Liam nodded together, "That's right, we're looking for Edward Grey." The woman smiled gently, exuding a charm that was not easily forgotten. "What a coincidence, I am also looking for him. My name is Victoria Nightshade." The woman held out her hand for a handshake with Alex and Liam. The two young men also shook Victoria's hand with big smiles and then politely introduced themselves. "I'm Liam and this is my friend Alex." Liam responded. "Are you looking for Edward because of his weird, scary paintings?" Victoria continued to ask. "Did you go through that too?" Liam asked while Alex opted for silence and observed the woman they had just met. He didn't want to rush into interacting with strangers. Unlike Liam, who was often careless in his steps. Sometimes Al
Arriving at the hotel, the calm and luxury of the room contrasted with the darkness of the mystery they faced. Liam was tempted by the comfort of the hotel bed, which invited him to sleep. He tried to provoke Alex, "Are you sure we don't have to go home tonight, A?" Alex looked at Liam sternly, "No Liam. I still have one or two thing to investigate in this town. If you feel tired and want to sleep, go ahead and sleep. I'm going out for a while to take care of some business. Don't wait for me, I'll probably be home very late." Having done so, Alex walked out of the hotel room with steady steps. He knew exactly what he had to do. Although he looked like a human, Alex was still a vampire who needed blood as a energy source. However, -he was a little different from ordinary vampires who had to suck blood every day. Alex simply consumed blood once a week, and unfortunately, tonight was that time. That was why Alex refused to go home with Liam tonight. Alex was afraid that he wouldn't be a
"You know, you surprised me," Alex said with a hint of disbelief, although he shouldn't have been surprised by Leo's presence, since vampires could usually appear and disappear anywhere at any time. But after meeting two mysterious guests earlier, Leo's presence was enough to make his heart leap. Leo laughed casually, "I just found out that you can be surprised too, Alex." "Of course I can be surprised. The last time I was in the hospital my heart was still functioning properly. Unlike your heart, which is no longer functioning normally." Alex smiled sarcastically with a snort. "Well, now you like to intimidate my race, huh? Well, no problem. At least I'm not a half-blood like you." Leo replied, not to be outdone. "Leave it to you, Leo." Alex said lazily arguing with Leo. "That's the Alex I know. A man who is most lazy when it comes to arguing about useless things. So, Alex - how was your day in town? Did you come for the task the vampires gave you or something else?" he asked. "
In a luxurious room filled with a sense of mystery, two mysterious figures stood face to face. They were both vampires, creatures who lived in a world of darkness and immortality. Between them, the man was the more authoritative figure, as if he exuded an undeniable aura of power. Meanwhile, the woman respected the man with a look of devotion. "Has he realised anything yet?" the man's voice sounded deep and enigmatic, creating a wave of tense silence. Before the sentence was finished, the woman's soft voice immediately replied, "Not yet, Your Majesty." Her voice was so soft, yet full of conviction. The man smiled in satisfaction, his lips forming a thin curve. "Good! We will lead him in the direction we want him to go. And, the most important thing is, don't let this group of vampires succeed in their plans. Vie, this all depends on you!" he said in a voice that contained firmness. The woman bowed ini his head, showing unwavering respect and obedience. "I understand, Your Highness.
The atmosphere at Victoria's house was rather tense as Alex, Liam and Victoria gathered to view the painting Alex had requested. In fact, the house was no different from any other, except that it smelled of fresh flowers. But even so, Alex could feel the tension in the air. Alex and Liam cautiously entered Victoria's house. Alex scanned every corner of the house with his sharp eyes, as if looking for hidden clues. He was the type of person who believed that answers always lay in every unseen and overlooked detail. Liam, on the other hand, tended to dive in without much thought. He is the passionate and optimistic type, always trying to find the silver lining in every situation. He may not have a sixth sense like Alex, but he wants to contribute in any way he can. This was certainly motivated by their interest in the owner of the house. Victoria greeted them warmly and invited them to sit down in the cosy sitting room. She offered tea as a courtesy. "May I offer you some tea?" she as
Victoria and Lily stood in silence, their hearts racing with a mix of fear and curiosity. After a moment, Victoria gathered her courage and spoke, “Alexander, we appreciate your trust in us, but we need some time to process this. The Book of Eden holds immense power and knowledge, and we’re not sure if we’re ready for it.”Alexander nodded understandingly. “I respect your decision. Take all the time you need. The book has been here for centuries; it can wait a little longer.”Relieved by his response, Victoria and Lily excused themselves from the cave and returned to the party. As they mingled with the guests, they couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. The Book of Eden was a significant discovery, but it also posed a potential danger.Later that night, as they lay in their room, Victoria and Lily discussed their options. “We need to be cautious,” Lily said. “The book could hold secrets that are better left undiscovered.”Victoria nodded in agreement. “But it could also hold answer
Victoria and Lily lived happily together for several decades, but they also realized that the human world was becoming more dangerous for them. There were many groups that wanted to hunt and destroy vampires, and they often faced them. They also had to be careful with other vampires who might be jealous or hostile to them. One day, they heard about a secluded island in the Pacific Ocean that was inhabited by peaceful vampires who wanted to live in harmony with humans. The island was called Eden Island, and according to legend, the island was the origin of the first vampire. Victoria and Lily decided to look for the island, hoping to find a safe and peaceful place to live. They started a long and adventurous journey to Eden Island, facing many obstacles and dangers along the way. They also met many new friends and enemies, both from the vampire world and the human world. They learned many things about the history, culture, and secrets of vampires that they never knew before. After seve

Anxiously, Victoria told Lily about the vampire that Victoria really was and about the lost love wi

They successfully break into the mad scientist's headquarters and find out where the virus is stored. They discovered that the virus was in an underground laboratory that was heavily guarded by vampires. They would have to be careful not to be spotted by the enemy. They planned to sneak into the underground lab at night, when the vampires were sleeping. They brought weapons and explosive devices to destroy the virus. They made it to the door of the underground lab, but they were intercepted by a vampire who recognised them as secre
Alex and Victoria are a vampire couple who live peacefully in a small town. They do not like to kill humans, but rather drink the blood of animals or voluntary donors. They also have many human friends who respect and protect them. One night, they hear news that there is an evil vampire clan called The Bloods who plan to rule the world by making humans their slaves. The Bloods are led by an old and powerful vampire named Lord Draven. He has an army of vampires numbering in the thousands, as well as some brainwashed humans.Alex and Victoria feel that they must stop the Bloods' evil plan, as they do not want to see the world become a hell for humans. They decide to attack the Bloods' headquarters which is in a tall building in the centre of a big city. They infiltrated the building disguised as ordinary humans, and found their way to Lord Draven's main room. Along the way, they had to face many guardian vampires who tried to block them. They used their strength and speed to defeat the
A five-person investigation team was investigating an empty warehouse on the outskirts of the city. They were looking for evidence of a drug syndicate allegedly operating there. However, as they entered the warehouse, they heard the sound of a door slamming shut behind them. They turned around and saw several armed men standing in front of the door, looking at them coldly."We've been waiting for you," one of them said sarcastically. "You won't make it out of here alive."The investigation team immediately grabbed their weapons and took cover behind some boxes and shelves. They tried to shoot back, but their bullets were not enough to deal with the large number of enemies. They couldn't call for help either, as their mobile phone signals were blocked by jamming devices."How do we get out of here?" one of the team members asked frantically."Relax, we have to find another way out," said the team leader calmly. "There might be an emergency exit or a window here.""And how can we find i
torture him until he tells us who helped him escape. But she wouldn't confess. She remained silent even though we tortured her body and mind in various ways. We even tried to implant a Project Z chip into her brain, but she managed to fight it off with her incredible mind power."You can't control me, Mr X. I'm stronger than you," Lucius said in a weak voice."You're wrong, Lucius. You can't fight us. We are The Syndicate, the most powerful organisation in the world. We have resources, technology, and people you can't imagine. You are just a failed scientist, who has no friends, family, or purpose in life," Mr X replied sarcastically."You're wrong again, Mr X. I'm not alone. I have friends who will always help me. They are the best secret agents in the world. They are my family. And my goal in life is to stop your crazy plan," Lucius said excitedly."Who are your friends, Lucius? Are they the ones who attacked our facility earlier? Were they the ones who took you away in that helicop
Meanwhile, at The Syndicate headquarters, a man in a black suit sat in front of a computer screen. He is Mr. X, the leader of The Syndicate. He was monitoring the state of the facility that was attacked by Alex and friends. He saw their helicopter flying away from the site."He got away," he muttered coldly."Who escaped, sir?" asked a woman standing next to him. She was Ms. Y, Mr. X's assistant."Lucius, the secret agent we captured," replied Mr. X."Why did we arrest him, sir?" asked Ms. Y."Because he knows something he shouldn't know," said Mr. X."What is it, sir?""Our plan to rule the world," said Mr. X with an evil smile."How can we rule the world, sir?""By using the secret weapon we developed at the facility. A weapon that can control the human mind.""What is that weapon, sir?""It's called Project Z. It is a micro-chip that can be implanted into the human brain. With that chip, we can make people our slaves. We can make them do whatever we want.""Wow, that's amazing, sir
