Adam was sitting in the bedroom with Jessica and kept an eye on her. Her screams still echoed in his ears, threatening his sanity. They were straight out of hell. He shuddered at the thought of what she felt that made her scream like that. He knew that he was better off not knowing too much about her past. Jessica seemed at peace as she slept like a baby.
