33 False Hope (Flashback)

Camila shivered like a puppy. She couldn't even manage to find her voice. She was certain that there was no way out of it. They were way too deep into the field even if she shouted at the peak of her strength, her voice would never reach her house. Even if it did, her father was too wounded to overpower the three men. She would endanger her father and her little sisters. All she could do was to plead.

“I beg you, senor! I’ve never harmed anyone in my life. Please let me go!” Camila pleaded with a shaky voice as tears flowed from her eyes.

The man still scanned her like he was deaf. Her words didn't seem to make any difference to him. He extended his hand to her chest. Before he could touch her, she instinctively jerked away from him while she was still on the ground. It only turned him on. He moved forward and grabbed her leg. She instinctively tried to shake him off and her other foot landed on his nose. He put his hands on his nose and yelled in pain. All his friends laughed at him
