Chapter 11 - Reckoning

I wanted out, I was tired.

Been here for almost a week and in fact, it's been six days and I've nearly and have gotten into fights here. I know I told Vito that I could take care of myself, although I could but I was slightly regretting it.

These people only saw the son of the man who killed their friend and wanted to murder him.

My real identity hasn’t been outed yet, it was still kept under wraps. I lowkey asked for it to be so. But I sometimes wondered if these guys learned that if I was a woman they would treat me any differently.

Today might be a little better as Vito informed me of some kind of meeting he needed to attend and that it would be held in a restaurant.

I didn't have any issue with it, I was all for eating great food on someone else's dime and I'd finally get to relax while I ate.

At least that's what I thought.
