83. Mae

I sat on my bed, leg wrapped up beneath a pillow as I thought of last night and the things I let Leo do to me. I couldn't help but wonder how things would be now.

I was still in thoughts when a knock came on my door. I stared at the door till the knock came again but I didn't make a move to get it. I just clutched onto my pillow.

It could be Leo knocking there and I wasn't ready to face him again after this morning. Pretty sure the only reason he hadn't barged in like he did in the morning was because the door was locked. I reached for a drawer in the bedside table to my left and got out Leo's ring from where it was lying next to my locket.

I can't hide from Leo forever and I knew it. I had to go answer that door and learn the things I wanted to know. Things I was so sure were related to this ring in my hand.
