59 Who is Anu?
Alaina’s POV
Pain. Searing pain. It’s sharp, burning, itchy, and I want to throw up. I am bouncing up and down, being thrown about unceremoniously, in what I think is a vehicle. Something is covering my face, a fabric bag maybe, and I can feel that it is tied around my neck, somehow. My arms are tied behind my back and I cannot move my legs. It feels like they are tied at the knees and ankles, as I can’t separate either. I can hear the voices of two men, that or it’s one person and they have split personalities. I can’t hear everything they are saying but I am able to catch a bit here and there.
