Chapter 4

Charlotte ran into her room sitting on the bed. 

"God please guide me on this journey. Please help me."She said sobbing.

"He might not be as bad as you think."Her subconscious added. 

"My life is crazy. Here I am thinking about my so called future husband. Someone I haven't met before trying to convince myself he'll be a good husband."Charlotte said to herself and walked up the window. Two little rats ran pass her and she jumped.

"That scared me."She said breathing heavily  putting her hand on her chest. 

"She walked up to her window and opened it. 

"You are going to be fine Charlotte. You are."She said to herself smiling brightly. 

Sophia walked into Charlotte's room. 

"Hi baby. Are you okay?"She asked curiously.

"I am fine mom. I just want to be alone."She said half yelling.

"Baby I am not selling you. I would never do that."Sophia said trying to convince her daughter. 

"Oh please mom cut it. Define selling? I am getting married to the so called heir of Dalton group of company just to pay for Phoebe's hospital bills."Charlotte said walking back to her bed. 

She sat down and folded her arms. 

"When we were rich,you didn't have any savings,you didn't have any investment. You just sat at home looking pretty."Charlotte continued. 

"If you had at least saved a little, we could have brought our company back to Life. If you have been nicer to your friends they could have helped us but no. You just had to brag about how richer you were, you just have to show off at any party just to piss them off and show you are their queen."Charlotte yelled with hot tears falling from her eyes. 

"Are you blaming me now?"Sophie asked tugging her hair. 

"Yes mom. I blame you and dad for everything. I saw Jelena last week. Do you know what she did to me? She humiliated me the same way you did to her mom."Charlotte explained fuming with anger. 

"it's like the whole world is out there waiting to get their revenge mom and I am the only one who is suffering." Charlotte said then standing up pacing round the room. 

"Mom I am drained. I don't know who I am anymore, I don't know what to feel anymore. I am sick and tired mom."Charlotte explained. 

Sophia hugged Charlotte.

"You'll be fine baby. I promise. Everyone will be fine."She said and patted Charlotte's back then released the hug. 

They both sat on the edge of the bed. 

"Don't worry baby. I am sure he will take care of you. You guys can fall in love later." Sophia said trying to convince Charlotte. 

"He must be handsome. I can't afford to get marry to some ugly douche bag."Charlotte said and they both laughed. 

"Don't be angry with me baby. I know I haven't been the best mother. Forgive me okay."Sophia said looking into Charlotte's eyes. 

"It's okay mom."Charlotte replied smiling back. 

"When you get married if anything happens,anything call me okay."Sophia said. 

"Sure mom I'll call you."Charlotte said and they both laughed again.

Tyler walked into his company. He spotted Mandy talking to the receptionist. He winks at the receptionist. 

"Did you see that?" Rose asked Mandy. 

"What?"Mandy asked back. 

"Mr Dalton winked at me. omg. Best day ever."Rose said smiling,still looking at Tyler walking into the elevator. 

"I don't think he winked even if he did it must have been me."Mandy said frowning at Rose. 

"You are just jealous."Rose said winking at her then focused on her computer as Mandy walked out. 

Tyler got into the office and called Rose. Rose rushed into his office. 

"Hi sir. You called me."She said biting her lips 

"You know what I like about you?"Tyler asked. 

"You are smart. Now come to daddy."Tyler commanded. 

Rose walked up to Tyler who was sitting down. She sat on his leg and started  lap dancing. 

"Hmmm."Tyler moaned. 

Mandy barged into the office. Rose stood up immediately. 

"I am so sorry sir."Mandy said trying so hard to control her self from laughing. 

Rose ran out of the office. 

"Get out."Tyler commanded. 

"I am not going to leave okay. I am the only one who gets to touch you okay."Mandy said angrily. 

Tyler stood up. 

"You are fired. Now get out and pack your things."

Tyler said. 

"You can't do this to me you bastard."Mandy screamed. 

"I'll do it again and again now leave."Tyler said. 

Mandy left the office and banged the door.

 She went to her office,packed her thing and saw Rose at the reception.

"I swear I am going to deal with you. You are going to regret this."Mandy threatened.

An hour later Zane walked into his company. 

"Good afternoon sir."Rose greeted Zane politely.

 

"Is Tyler in? "Zane asked. 

"Yes sir but he is busy at the moment. He is having a conference meeting."Rose replied. 

"Okay."Zane answered and walked into his son office. 

About 2 hours later Tyler entered his office and met his dad waiting. 

"Hmm hey dad."Tyler said in a low key voice looking tired. 

"Hey I want you to meet Charlotte today. So you guys can know each other. I'll call her father Now." Zane told his son. 

"No way dad. Why are you doing this to me?" Tyler asked adjusting his tie. 

"You need to know who you are getting married to."Zane answered. 

"Dad I am tired and today is a long day already. I can't meet anyone."Tyler said walking up to his chair and sitting down. 

"You have to see her Tyler and that's final. I want you to get married as soon as possible. Zane said. 

"I am not saying I won't get married,but seeing her today no."Tyler said then he removed his tie. 

Zane dialed a number on his phone. 

"Hey Dave."Zane said. 

"oh no."Tyler said waving negative to his dad

 

"Can you please tell your daughter to go to Bob's restaurant. Yeah the popular one where we used to hang out."Zane said ignoring his son.

 

"Yes tell her to start going my Son will meet her there. I want them to get to know each other so we can plan the wedding. They might as well get married on Wednesday. "Zane said. 

"Who gets married on Wednesday dad?"Tyler asks his father. 

"Okay Dave bye. Take care and say hi to your wife."Zane said ignoring Tyler. 

"You have to go to that restaurant and meet Charlotte .Am I clear? " Zane asked. 

"Okay dad. I'll get going now."Tyler said and took his car keys from his desk and left.

Charlotte walked into Bob's restaurant. She wore a mini skirt and a black top. She grabbed a seat and a waitress walked up to her. 

"What would you like to eat ma'am?"The waitress asked smiling brightly. 

"Just give me water for now."Charlotte said smiling back. 

" I hope it's not expensive." Charlotte said to herself. 

Few minutes later, Charlotte spotted a man in black suit, brown short hair walking into the restaurant. 

"He is so hot."Her subconscious added. 

"He is coming towards you. Sit right." He subconscious commanded and Charlotte changed her sitting position. 

Tyler walked up to Charlotte. 

"Hi I am Tyler Dalton and you must be Charlotte."He said then sat opposite to her. 

"Yes. My name is Charlotte Jenkins."Charlotte said smiling. 

"Thank God he is hot."Her subconscious added again. 

"So you have seen me and I have seen you. The date is over right?"Tyler asked staring at Charlotte boobs. 

"I thought we could like maybe talk or.."Charlotte stammered. 

"Maybe do what? Talk about marriage?"Tyler asked rudely. 

"Aren't you shameless. You are getting married to a guy you barely know. Why? Because of money? Fame?" Tyler asked rudely again. 

"It's fine."Charlotte said. 

Tyler spotted another woman sitting opposite to him and 

winked at her. Charlotte turned back. 

"What?"Tyler said. He stood up and walked out of the restaurant.
