I slowly began my ascend up the stairs while massaging my temples as the weight of grandfather’s request weighed heavily on me. After delivering the information, my brother had gone and had confided in me of the reason he had decided to show up, instead of sending someone over.

He wanted me to know that he had no resentment towards me for how the dinner turned out and he knew I would believe him without doubt if he showed up himself and he also, wanted to inform me to take it. To accept my grandfather’s request and let Chloe go.
