The next morning, cladded in a pink colored see through underwear, I descended down the stairs, my fingers grazing against the rails as I headed for breakfast.. unlike before, today felt different and promising and I couldn’t help but feel a bit excitement.

Rue, had shown up earlier to get me ready and observing her face, I could tell that she seemed to have forgotten about what had happened the previous night or had simply just decided to let it go because at the end of the day, I wasn’t a child and she must have known this.

“You look beautiful today.” Her normal routine of compliment escaped her lips and it made me wonder if she was told to do so.

The sound of clanking rang in my ears from the dinning area and I knew at once that for once, I wasn’t going to eat alone and there would be someone else with me. I could sight Alistair as he sat there, helping himself to breakfast.
