The night air felt amazing against my skin, and I felt like I was starring in some kind of movie. The restaurant was, for a lack of better words, stunning. The black and deep brown colours made the place look modern. The warm orange lights added to the ambiance, and I was completely drawn in.
This place knew what they were doing, and I was happy to finally go on this wonderful date with Zayn. He had no time for us to spend together, and I suppose this was his way of making up for it. It was great to finally spend some time with the man that I love so much.
We were greeted by the owner of the place, which just so happened to be a close friend of Zayn’s. I am not going to lie... I think Zayn might know everyone, and it is starting to scare me a bit. How did he even know this many people?!
I sighed, as we both walked with the owner, to what I assumed was going to be the best table in this place. We walked past a giant sign that read “VIP”. It was gold in colour, and it illuminated the stairway that led upwards to the second floor. Everything was perfect, and this place was a simple work of art within itself.
“We are almost there; I promise that the wait is going to be worth it.” I smiled as the owner guided us to an area that I did not expect. It looked like a fricking modern garden!
There were dark grey pots filled with cherry blossoms still on the branches of the tree, and they were placed perfectly into the pots. There were Koi fish swimming next to the table, and the table itself was made from marble. I was stunned beyond words.
It was an absolutely beautiful sight to behold, and we finally sat down as the waiters came to the table. They asked us what drinks we would want, and to my surprise Zayn chose the most expensive red wine that they had to offer. He knew I liked red wine, and he seemed to like it as well, which was something that I definitely did not expect from him.
“Is there anything else we can get you sir? Ma’am?” The waiters smiled, and we gave them our food orders. They thanked us, and walked away to go get our orders ready.
“Thank you so much for taking me out tonight... I missed the two of us just spending time together. I mean... I know you are training really hard for the greater good of the pack, but... I missed you.” A sad smile placed itself on my lips, causing Zayn to frown.
“I’m sorry my love, I promise when this is all over, we will spend a lot more time together.” He smiled, and it cheered me up a bit.
“I would like that.” As I replied, our wine and food showed up, and we thanked the waiters before digging into the food that they had perfectly prepared for us. The garnishing was beyond perfect, and I was in awe at how much work they put into the place, and into their food. No wonder it was so expensive to dine here.
We had an amazing time as we talked for what felt like hours. We never talked this much. I found myself falling even more in love with him, so much so that nothing in the world mattered to me any more than he did. We eventually finished our food, and I found myself clinging to Zayn’s side. His very presence made me feel safe and loved, and I was absolutely in love with him.
We made our way to the car, and suddenly everything went by in a blur. Some guy yelled, and as I turned to face the culprit, a gun shot rang in my ears. My blood went cold as I saw Tristan with a gun. My heart felt like it was breaking physically, and it hurt. That is when I realized what had just happened... Zayn... My love... My mate... The father of our future kids... Was gone... There was absolutely nothing I could do about that... I stared in horror as Tristan laughed maniacally, and my mind was quiet. Tristan’s laugh was quiet, and everything around me... Was quiet. My world came to a stop, and I felt completely and utterly broken inside.
I sat on the sidewalk with Zayn in my arms, and tears welled up in my eyes. The faint sound of sirens came into earshot, but they sounded just as far away as anything else. It was like the whole world had become dull. The sounds... The colours... The joy from only a few minutes earlier. They were all, dull...
I felt a pair of hands rub my shoulders, and I did not even bother to look up. The arms dragged me away from Zayn, and I could only feel my heart break even more. It was a scene of utter chaos. The ambulance loaded him into the back, and sped off to the nearest hospital, and the police took me down to the station to answer some questions.
“...Happened... to help you... Listening?!” Their words were nothing but brief flashes of sound, entering and exiting my mind. Nothing being said, actually registered itself in my mind. Nothing mattered anymore.
“Please miss, we need to...” I sighed, and with a hoarse voice I answered their questions.
“The guy that killed my husband, is his son, Tristan Trevino. He has had a history of violent tendencies, and he has even committed several other crimes. That is all I know.” I stated, and they thanked me for my co-operation. They offered to drive me to the hospital, and I heard that Zayn had been in critical condition. He most likely was not going to make it, and I felt like a piece of me was dying along with him. After everything we had been through... was it just going to end like this?
Tristan was in custody, but I doubt that he would remain there for long, and Zayn...? Well... I was now next to his ambulance bed... Watching him slowly drift away...
Thank you for reading up until this point and I hope that everyone has a lovely day.

AliceHe passed away in the ambulance, before we could even get him to the hospital. I was completely shattered... I sat with tears welled-up in my eyes that refused to stop flowing, and the only thought I had left was that my mate was gone. I wished that I could save him... I wish that I could turn back time, and fix every mistake that I had ever made, but we all know that is not possible.I should have appreciated more of the time we spent together, and I should never have let Tristan do what he did. Tristan was behind bars, and I was left with a pack that needed guidance. I could only do so much for them, and it still would not be enough. They needed their Alpha... I needed my mate, and Bryce needed his best friend. None of us were going to get that wish, and it completely broke me inside...So, here I was. Standing on a bridge that looked like it was about to collapse at any moment, and I thought about what would happen to the pack once I was also no longer there. Surely, they wou
Moon GoddessWell... I did not expect both of my little wolves to come home so soon... This will not do. This will not do, at all. I watched as time slowed down, which meant that the keeper of time showed up, just like I knew he would.“Hello lovely! How have things been going? Are the little wolves you love so much all happy?” He came closer, and I found myself smiling, believe it or not, we used to date. Contrary to popular belief, he really was a sweetheart, and knew how to treat a woman, but it just did not work out. You know how it goes.“Not so great actually... I was wondering... Could you maybe do me a little favour?” I gave him a sheepish smile, and he returned it with one of his own.“... And, what exactly does this favour entail?” He smirked, and I almost wanted to slap him, but that would be rude.“I want you to give one of my little wolves a second chance... She had a great life ahead of her, and we both know what Tristan did was not supposed to happen. Please?” I dragg
AliceMy eyes opened to a ray of sunshine hitting my face, and I instantly knew that this was not a dream. I was in the family vacation home which I shared with my sister. The same sister that had tortured me, and the same sister that would arrive in the next few hours or so.I had more questions than I had answers, and they were consuming my brain. How was this even possible? How did I get here? What happened? My logic told me, I must have fallen so hard that I passed out instead of the desired effect, and someone had to be playing a prank on me.I checked the date on my phone, and my heart sank into my chest... It was the exact same day that I went to go get coffee, and when I got back, Cole was in the house alongside Kaitlyn. Okay, I have not seen them in the house yet...So, I might have to go to the coffee shop, and then get back here to see if everything happened like I remembered. Alice “We do not have the time for this! I do not care who he is, and I do not care about what you have done to me in the past, okay?!” I seethed, causing both of their eyes to widen as they tried explaining themselves, and why they were here.“We are running out of time, and we need to get back to the pack! I will make sure that he does not lock you guys up or whatever it is that you fear he might do to you. We have to leave now, and we have to warn him.” Cole stared at me like I was a lunatic, but Kaitlyn just looked worried. It is strange, because I never thought she would be able to show anyone any compassion, and at times I wondered if her heart was not missing out of her chest. It seemed to me that was not the case, because she seemed like she was genuinely sorry for all of the horrible things she had done to me, so I was not going to forget about what she had done to me, but rather I was going to forgive her.It is not like I had a choice anyway; I mean I needed both their he
AliceWe waited at the airport for what felt like an eternity before our flight was finally announced, and I wondered just what exactly I was going to tell Zayn once we would see each other again. It is not like we left everything on the best terms, and I really wanted to mend the bond that was currently torn.I needed to figure out how to prevent the pack from being overthrown by Tristan, seeing as no one knew what awaited them, and I was the only one that did.We got onto the plane, and luckily we had the pleasure of riding in first class, which was nice to experience. I mean it was alright, but for the price, I would have rather flown in economy. I was finally in the arms of the man that I love, and I would not change it for anything in the world.I was hoping that this feeling would never end, but as they say, all good things must come to an end, because that is when Kaitlyn made her appearance behind me. She cleared her throat, which caused the both of us to turn to her, and Zayn immediately put distance between me and Kaitlyn by positioning himself in front of me.“What are you doing back here?! Do you have a death wish?” Zayn seethed, and I found myself almost bursting out in laughter. I placed my hand on his arm, and kissed his bicep in a comforting way, which seemed to have worked slightly.“My love, there is a lot I need to tell you, and I think it would be best if we headed inside, and caught up on what happened while I was away.” I smiled as he looked down, before he finally calmed down a bit, and a small smi
AliceI checked myself in the mirror to fix the last few imperfections to my look for today. I was excited beyond belief, since today has officially been three years since my mate Tristan and I had been together. We had plans to go dining out of town at some fancy restaurant called “Le Cordon d’Or” and to say I was excited would have been an understatement. I was simply ecstatic.I walked towards the living room, and I saw my mate sitting with my sister watching a movie, when I decided to join them.“Hello babe, where have you been all morning?” He inquired, and I found myself smiling.“I was getting ready for our anniversary dinner, what are you two up to?” I asked, and he shifted a bit, before facing me.“Oh, we were just watching a movie! Shall we go then?” He asked, to which I nodded, watching as my sister seemed to be angry.“Hey sis, what’s wrong?” I inquired, wondering what bugged her so much.“Oh! Well, it’s nothing, don’t worry about it, have fun you two.” She stated, and I t

AliceThe dungeons? Where every criminal and delinquent is kept? I suddenly remembered that maybe, just maybe I bit off more than I could chew. They might even respect me since I am the Luna now, but I highly doubt it.“It is okay to not be able to do things you know? Might I suggest we go do some other tasks that you would be more comfortable doing?” Bryce suggested. That is when I decided to suck it up, and I walked into the dungeons without any further argument. If I was going to chicken out of doing certain duties, then what kind of Luna would that make me? More importantly, what example would I set for the rest of the pack? I had to do this. Whether I wanted to do it or not did not matter. Sometimes we have to do things that we really do not want to do, for the greater good, of course.I was pleasantly surprised that the dungeons were not that bad, they were all mostly civil, with the occasional threat or two breaking the silence, but other than that, nothing much happened, and
