Alice
It had been a few days since Tristan had left, and I had to admit, Zayn seemed a bit on edge. Even Bryce and Haley did not know what to do, or to say.
Zayn had been training all day, every day, for the past three days in a row, and I think he was pushing himself too far. I tried telling him to take breaks, but he refused, and I was truly at a loss as I had no idea what to do to make him feel better.
“Zayn, my love... I really think it is time to take a break, even an Alpha needs rest.” I sighed as he stopped for a moment, and caught his breath.
“I cannot stop now! I need to be strong enough to beat him!” His yell echoed through the training fields, and I winced at his hard tone of voice.
“Well... if you continue on like this, then you will have no energy left to win the fight...” I sighed, as I turned my back towards him, and walked back to the pack house.
I guess today I will be spending my time with the pups of the pack, although, I think they might be growing up a little bit too fast. I turned to head towards the daycare, and made my way inside. I was instantly greeted by everyone as they all ran up to hug me.
“Hello there everyone. I am so happy to see all of you, has everyone missed me?” A smile found itself tugging at the corners of my lips as I finally felt a bit happier than I had been for the past couple of days.
They all yelled in unison about how much they had missed me, causing a giggle to slip past my lips, and I felt my heart melting at the sight of how excited each and every one of the pups were.
“I have an idea. Why don’t we do something special for the alpha? How about we do some finger painting today, but every painting has to be your favourite flower!” The classroom erupted into cheers as all of them gathered at the crafting stations, and got out the paints like I had taught them.
“Well done! Look at all of you knowing exactly what to do, I am so proud of all of you.” For context, they never used to do this, so this is a first for me as well. Maybe the time that I spent away has changed them? Whatever the case, I was always happy to see improvement.
My plan was that they painted the flowers, and I would use a black pen to draw in the details after they were done, as well as write some encouraging words for when Zayn faces off against Tristan. I also let the pups write an encouraging message on their own, and after what felt like hours of drawing, and painting later, everything was finished.
I got all of the artworks, and I put them up in Zayn’s office whilst he was still out training himself to death. I strung up some fairy lights, and waited until night fell, before turning on the lights, whilst I gathered all the pups to stand quietly in his office.
Their parents were alright with it, and I made sure not to push this event too late, as the pups still had daycare tomorrow. As if on cue, the doorknob to his office turned, and once the door swung open, everyone yelled out in unison.
“Surprise!” The pups giggled, and a look of shock found its way onto Zayn’s face. He stood there for what felt like ages before a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and a single stray tear streamed down his cheek.
“Now what is all his?!” He fully smiled now, and ran up to envelop me in a tight hug.
“Thank you so much baby!” He kissed my cheek, and a small blush crept up my cheeks, because all of the pups, of course, had to have a reaction.
“Luna and Alpha sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G...” they all sang in unison, causing another giggle to slip past my lips. These little devils hahaha.
“Hey, that is enough out of you all. I am sure the Luna is already as flustered as she can get.” Zayn winked, and I found myself blushing harder at his words.
“Yes Alpha.” They all said in unison, as if they had been practicing that line since birth, which honestly, they probably were.
“Thank you all so much for this, you do not know how much this means to me, and I suppose I have one person to thank for that later.” His gaze traveled to me, taking in every inch of me, and I slapped his arm, causing him to wince.
“Not in front of the pups. Okay everyone! Time to head back home, I will see all of you tomorrow.” I ordered, and they all said good night, before their parents showed up at the front of the pack house to come and collect their pups.
“Thank you all for what you have done, and thank you for making my day. I hope everyone has a lovely night, and as your Alpha, I promise all of you, that I will not lose this battle!” The pack erupted into cheers, and Bryce started clapping, which slowly caused the others to applaud Zayn as well.
He looked so happy, and it made me happy to see him like this, he made me so happy, and it was good to see that he was not so worried for once, even if it was just for a moment.
Everyone said their goodbyes, and headed home for the night, leaving me and Zayn to clean up the mess I had caused.
“Sorry about the mess, my love, I will get it cleaned u...” As I was about to finish talking, he cut me off with a deep kiss on the lips. My heart sped up its rhythm, and the kiss made me melt inside. It was a purposefully needy kiss, and I loved every second of it.
“You are so adorable when you are flustered, thank you for everything my love.” With that, we both cleaned up the office, and got ready for bed. Once we got inside, he pulled me closer by the waist, and we snuggled into each other’s embrace as darkness slowly consumed my senses.
AliceToday I was determined to make everyone’s day better. As the Luna of the pack, I had more duties and responsibilities than I previously had, and I found myself wondering why Kaitlyn did everything that she did to me. I was over the trauma, but... I just needed a clear answer without any contradictions, and without any lies.I walked to go check on all the local businesses, and found myself flabbergasted at how many there were in the market area of town. I sighed as I started fulfilling my duties, and I found myself wondering just how many of these kinds of shops there really were.Zayn was out training, and I was left to do most of the work until he beats Tristan, which I did not mind. I mean everything we built together was at risk here. He had no other choice but to win, and that fact alone made everyone walk on eggshells.Everyone was scared, but I had hope. Hope that the love of my life will win, and that the good in this pack will outweigh the evil within. With that being s
AliceThe dungeons? Where every criminal and delinquent is kept? I suddenly remembered that maybe, just maybe I bit off more than I could chew. They might even respect me since I am the Luna now, but I highly doubt it.“It is okay to not be able to do things you know? Might I suggest we go do some other tasks that you would be more comfortable doing?” Bryce suggested. That is when I decided to suck it up, and I walked into the dungeons without any further argument. If I was going to chicken out of doing certain duties, then what kind of Luna would that make me? More importantly, what example would I set for the rest of the pack? I had to do this. Whether I wanted to do it or not did not matter. Sometimes we have to do things that we really do not want to do, for the greater good, of course.I was pleasantly surprised that the dungeons were not that bad, they were all mostly civil, with the occasional threat or two breaking the silence, but other than that, nothing much happened, and
AliceThe night air felt amazing against my skin, and I felt like I was starring in some kind of movie. The restaurant was, for a lack of better words, stunning. The black and deep brown colours made the place look modern. The warm orange lights added to the ambiance, and I was completely drawn in.This place knew what they were doing, and I was happy to finally go on this wonderful date with Zayn. He had no time for us to spend together, and I suppose this was his way of making up for it. It was great to finally spend some time with the man that I love so much.We were greeted by the owner of the place, which just so happened to be a close friend of Zayn’s. I am not going to lie... I think Zayn might know everyone, and it is starting to scare me a bit. How did he even know this many people?!I sighed, as we both walked with the owner, to what I assumed was going to be the best table in this place. We walked past a giant sign that read “VIP”. It was gold in colour, and it illuminated

AliceHe passed away in the ambulance, before we could even get him to the hospital. I was completely shattered... I sat with tears welled-up in my eyes that refused to stop flowing, and the only thought I had left was that my mate was gone. I wished that I could save him... I wish that I could turn back time, and fix every mistake that I had ever made, but we all know that is not possible.I should have appreciated more of the time we spent together, and I should never have let Tristan do what he did. Tristan was behind bars, and I was left with a pack that needed guidance. I could only do so much for them, and it still would not be enough. They needed their Alpha... I needed my mate, and Bryce needed his best friend. None of us were going to get that wish, and it completely broke me inside...So, here I was. Moon GoddessWell... I did not expect both of my little wolves to come home so soon... This will not do. This will not do, at all. I watched as time slowed down, which meant that the keeper of time showed up, just like I knew he would.“Hello lovely! How have things been going? Are the little wolves you love so much all happy?” He came closer, and I found myself smiling, believe it or not, we used to date. Contrary to popular belief, he really was a sweetheart, and knew how to treat a woman, but it just did not work out. You know how it goes.“Not so great actually... I was wondering... Could you maybe do me a little favour?” I gave him a sheepish smile, and he returned it with one of his own.“... And, what exactly does this favour entail?” He smirked, and I almost wanted to slap him, but that would be rude.“I want you to give one of my little wolves a second chance... She had a great life ahead of her, and we both know what Tristan did was not supposed to happen. Please?” I dragg
AliceMy eyes opened to a ray of sunshine hitting my face, and I instantly knew that this was not a dream. I was in the family vacation home which I shared with my sister. The same sister that had tortured me, and the same sister that would arrive in the next few hours or so.I had more questions than I had answers, and they were consuming my brain. How was this even possible? How did I get here? What happened? My logic told me, I must have fallen so hard that I passed out instead of the desired effect, and someone had to be playing a prank on me.I checked the date on my phone, and my heart sank into my chest... It was the exact same day that I went to go get coffee, and when I got back, Cole was in the house alongside Kaitlyn. Okay, I have not seen them in the house yet...So, I might have to go to the coffee shop, and then get back here to see if everything happened like I remembered. If I really was sent back in time, then there had to be a reason, right?I walked towards the coff
Alice “We do not have the time for this! I do not care who he is, and I do not care about what you have done to me in the past, okay?!” I seethed, causing both of their eyes to widen as they tried explaining themselves, and why they were here.“We are running out of time, and we need to get back to the pack! I will make sure that he does not lock you guys up or whatever it is that you fear he might do to you. We have to leave now, and we have to warn him.” Cole stared at me like I was a lunatic, but Kaitlyn just looked worried. It is strange, because I never thought she would be able to show anyone any compassion, and at times I wondered if her heart was not missing out of her chest. It seemed to me that was not the case, because she seemed like she was genuinely sorry for all of the horrible things she had done to me, so I was not going to forget about what she had done to me, but rather I was going to forgive her.It is not like I had a choice anyway; I mean I needed both their he
AliceI do not know how long we stood there, and I had a feeling that it had been a while, but I did not care. I was finally in the arms of the man that I love, and I would not change it for anything in the world.I was hoping that this feeling would never end, but as they say, all good things must come to an end, because that is when Kaitlyn made her appearance behind me. She cleared her throat, which caused the both of us to turn to her, and Zayn immediately put distance between me and Kaitlyn by positioning himself in front of me.“What are you doing back here?! Do you have a death wish?” Zayn seethed, and I found myself almost bursting out in laughter. I placed my hand on his arm, and kissed his bicep in a comforting way, which seemed to have worked slightly.“My love, there is a lot I need to tell you, and I think it would be best if we headed inside, and caught up on what happened while I was away.” I smiled as he looked down, before he finally calmed down a bit, and a small smi
AliceWe waited at the airport for what felt like an eternity before our flight was finally announced, and I wondered just what exactly I was going to tell Zayn once we would see each other again. It is not like we left everything on the best terms, and I really wanted to mend the bond that was currently torn.I needed to figure out how to prevent the pack from being overthrown by Tristan, seeing as no one knew what awaited them, and I was the only one that did.We got onto the plane, and luckily we had the pleasure of riding in first class, which was nice to experience. I mean it was alright, but for the price, I would have rather flown in economy. It was not my money though, so I did not worry about it any further.I chose a window seat, and I found myself gazing at the sunset as it stretched across the horizon, and I could not help but marvel at the sight in front of me. Gorgeous hues of oranges, pinks, and purples painted the sky, and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was an artw
