Chapter 10 - The rage of an Alpha.

I stood there, waiting for the elder to finish delivering his speech, when I noticed everyone whispering, and I could only faintly make out what those whispers were about, when I noticed Alice had a tear running down her face. Did she still have feelings for him? Why was she crying over this stupid wedding?

That is when I noticed that the people of our pack were whispering about her, and I felt my blood boil. I wanted to interrupt them and tear all of them down for making her cry, but I held back, trying to wait until the end of the wedding out of respect.

I watched intently as Alice seemed to be unable to bare the gossip any further, because she stood up and bowed in respect, excusing herself from the ceremony. I was beyond livid, and my anger was bubbling up inside of me.

How dare she bow to the pack, and show them respect when she herself was not respected?! I was going to tear everyone and everything down as soon as this wedding is over! No one has the right to make the girl that has always been mine cry, and I will not stand for this slander!

“With all that being said, I now pronounce you husband, and wife, you may kiss your bride.” They kissed, and the whole pack erupted into cheers, giving them an encore, encouraging them to continue. I have seen enough.

“Shut up all of you! You sit here cheering for them, which is great, but you belittle a woman who has done absolutely nothing to any of you?! The same woman who takes care of your pups, because you are all too lazy to do it yourselves?! You have no F*CKING RIGHT to disrespect her, and now you have caused her to run off! You will all find her, and you will apologize for your actions! You will all beg for her forgiveness, or the moon goddess help me, I will tear this whole pack apart!” I roared in my Alpha voice, watching all of them bow their heads in shame.

“You must all be really f*cking stup*id if you thought that an Alpha could not hear what you backstabbers had to say. You ought to be ashamed!” I finished my speech, and the pups of the pack clapped their hands, warming my heart. At least they enjoyed her company.

“Go and find her, before I start my slaughter.” My tone was calm and cold, and so the search party had started, and that is when I remembered that Aden's lackeys were still out there, with someone even worse than him in charge of them.

I headed towards the dungeons we kept locked very secure, the guards taking shifts to keep the entrance safe, and headed down to talk to Aden's, and get more information out of him. I hope Alice was okay, because if she was not, I would lose my mind.

Alice

I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a truck, and panic immediately overtook my senses as I tried to take in my surroundings as best I could, but everything was pitch black, looks like I was locked up somewhere?!

Why would someone want to lock me up? I did nothing wrong! I tried to stand up, when I felt an immense pain shooting through my legs, causing me to fall back down. It felt like my legs were broken!

I sighed, trying to fall back asleep, knowing that I was probably here for a reason, but there was nothing I could do, and I seemed to have been in iron cuffs, which burnt into my wrists, and slowed my healing down to that of a normal human’s.

I sat in pain, trying my best to muffle my cries, knowing that no one in my old pack probably even cared that I was gone… With tears streaming down my cheeks, I closed my eyes, waiting for the sweet embrace of sleep to take over my senses, and numb the pain, both emotional, and physical.

I found myself wishing, and calling out for help, even though the pack link might be completely cut off from me, maybe… just maybe… it was worth a try.

Zayn

“Calm down Zayn, you are going to kill him, then we will never find her again.” Bryce stated, which caused me to stop, Aden's face beaten to a pulp, and my fists covered in his blood, each hit granting me a satisfying crunch to the bones beneath. I needed to take out my frustration, and I needed to find my f*cking girl!

“I will ask you again! Where the f*ck have you taken my new-found mate?!” I inquired again, only hearing him laugh as response, before I punched his lights out, and he fell unconscious.

I wiped my hands on the towel Bryce had given me, before leaving to the stairs that led out of the dungeons. I suppose I will try again tomorrow, and in the meanwhile the hunters and trackers were all on the hunt for Alice.

Goddess knows if anyone touches her, they will suffer an agonizingly slow death, and I will cast out everyone in this pack, until nothing is left of it.

I was not willing to lose another mate, and certainly not one that loved me as much as she did. I walked to the pack house, before hearing Kaitlyn running up to me, and putting her arms around my waist, thinking that I would fall for her schemes, like my son had. Well, I have news for her.

“Get off of me! What do you want?!” I stated, shoving her off of me.

“I just wanted to cheer you up.” She whined out, and I could feel my blood boiling, as she tried seducing me as she did with my son, and I was not going to tolerate it.

“You want me happy? Go find your sister!” I seethed, causing her to back off instinctively, as I headed back to my office.
