At Regina’s apartment, Owen tore the bear apart, not caring if he was making a mess. They found the bear permanently tethered to the wall with wire leading to an electric outlet to power the cameras. Aside from the one they found on the nose that Bella swallowed, there were two others installed in its eyes.

“Who did this?” she asked while Owen ushered her out of the room.

Regina was mortified to see that someone had been spying on her, and though Owen wanted to scold her for going back to her apartment, he held off on his anger and held her close.

“I don’t know, but it’s someone sick.”

Ice ran through his veins, thinking about what the camera had been recording. The bear had been in her room for a while, and he wondered if it picked up on their sexual activities or if it was just recording Regina when she was alone.

“You will come home with me, Regina. I will not allow you to return until we clear the place of other cameras.”
