Was she supposed to be cool with everything and pretend that what happened between them was only desire taking over or was it something more?Vayldre's silence was not really helping in easing out her anxiety.Just as they stepped inside the cabin, Frore started making dinner and let Vayldre help her silently.“ So...Vayldre. ” Frore called out to him, to get rid of this awkward silence, that was weighing heavy between them.“ Hmm...” He hummed out, clearly focused on cutting the carrots.Seeing the carrots, Frore's mind went to Whity. She had not seen him from the time Vayldre had came here. Pushing the thought back, she decided to just focus on him right now.“ What are weAUTHOR'S POV“ Harder! ” Vayldre grunted and Frore gave him a poker face, getting annoyed by him already. It's been a whole week. A whole week of sexual tension and awkward moments. Frore was irritated out of her whims. The cold feeling inside her was intensifying and she was unable to control what was happening with her.Her nightmares were still stuck at the same place. The woman was asking Eirlys Albertine to wake up and this was giving Frore a nasty headache. She wanted to reach out to her in her dreams and get to know what it was all about and what really that woman in her dreams wanted to say.“ Focus, Frore! ” Vayldre's voice boomed in Frore's ears, snapping her out of her trance with the back of his sword hitting her shoulder lightly.Groaning, Frore stumbled back and stared at the shiny sword in her hands. AUTHOR'S POV After cooking and eating dinner together, Vayldre and Frore now laid side by side on her small bed. Vayldre was unconsciously rolling her hair on his forefinger as Frore found herself lost in her own thoughts. The dream she had earlier was not leaving her mind completely. She had realized that the woman in her dreams wanted to tell her something - something important. Sighing, Frore blinked and focused on Vayldre who seemed lost in his own thoughts. Frore didn't know how to deal with men but the way he gifted her this necklace really warmed up her heart. Did it mean something? She couldn't help but ask herself this question. The irony of all this was the fact that she couldn't ask this to Vayldre. “ Go to sleep. We will train again tomorrow. ” Vayldre whispered and left her hair before closing his eyes. Vayldre was always warm, Frore r
AUTHOR'S POV Frore was utterly dumbfounded. He just left her hanging and his breathing was even out which meant he already fell asleep. What was wrong with Vayldre? She pouted and rested her head on his chest. Her eyes begged to change color and the iciness wanted to take over her as she felt his warmth but she didn't let the internal force control her. She seemed to feel happy for the first time in a while and she wanted to live in this newly found happiness. Not peace but happiness. A smile lit up her lips as she inhaled his scent and compelled herself to fall asleep before she went crazy thinking about Vayldre. She didn't realize when she fell asleep and Vayldre opened his eyes again. He was so close to having that important talk with her. He was going to tell her about the Magic stone but something stopped him. It was like he couldn't utter any words. He was becoming weak and he didn

They were grinning as they came close and hugged each other.“ I did it. ” One of them told the other in the darkness of the night and the second one pulled away, causing Frore's breath to hitch in her throat. One of them was Lovis Albertine. Frore remembered him from the time she had seen him passing the village, as he burned everything in his way.The ruthless man looked too young here and the other man who was telling him that he was successful in something was quite similar in looks. What was happening? She confessed to him and he didn’t say anything about it.
AUTHOR’S POV“ There is a way. ” Vayldre smiled.Frore broke out of her trance and focused on Vayldre. There was a way, Frore felt relieved.“ If we get the magic stone back to its original spot, the peace will be restored. ” Vayldre breathed deeply and revealed to Frore.Frore’s shoulders slumped down at his answer. “ And where is this Magic stone and who can touch it now? AUTHOR’S POV The next morning, Frore woke up as usual, curled up beside Vayldre who was still sleeping, his arm draped over her waist. After eating dinner in a grave silence, they both had silently fell asleep, their minds caught up with worries of their own. Now, Frore took time to memorise every inch of Vayldre’s face. She had a bad hunch about all this situation, but she couldn’t pinpoint what really was wrong here. As a result, she could just try to overcome the nauseating feeling.Heaving a heavy breath, she got up from the bed, leaving Vayldre sleeping on the bed.******After having breakfast in the same unbreakable silence, Frore stepped out of the cabin followed by Vayldre who was having a hard time taking his eyes off Frore.“ Where is this cave and how are we supposed to get there? ” Frore realized she didn’t know about the journey ahead so she finally decided to ask Vay
