I need your help

Pedro glanced at the invitation card on his table as Leo placed it there.

"What's this?" Pedro asked, looking at Leo, who was now sitting in the chair opposite him.

"It's an invitation letter for our company, more specifically for me," Leo said, causing Pedro to furrow his brow.

"So, why are you giving it to me?" Pedro asked again, not understanding Leo's actions.

"I can't go. Tonight, I have to accompany Alana and the twins. I can't bear to leave Alana alone to take care of the twins later tonight," Leo said, making Pedro lean back and look at his friend.

"And?" Pedro asked.

"So, can you represent me?" Leo said, making Pedro exhale roughly.

"You know as well, I don't enjoy the hustle and bustle of parties," Pedro said.

"I know. But still, it's not like you can refuse when your boss can't go, so the secretary has to go," Leo said, making Pedro grumble in annoyance.
