PERFECT LIARS

While in the middle of the party, Ian is desperately searching for Chloe.

“Why aren’t you dancing?” Taylor approached him.

“I can’t. I don’t know where is Chloe,” His eyes searched all over the party hall.

“But she was with us. Am I right?”

“It’s been an hour. I didn’t see her. I asked Sookie and Sara, but they didn’t see her today. I called her, but she isn’t attending,”

“Maybe we should check apart from the hall,” Taylor suggested. They both made their way around all the corridors, hoping to find her. They even searched in the restroom. Finally, they stood in the corner of the corridor to catch their breath.

“You should call her sisters,” Taylor said, panting. When Ian took his phone, he heard someone shouting, screaming from somewhere.

“I heard a familiar voice,” He stated.

“Me too,” Taylor said, running towards the voice. The scream is getting louder and louder until it’s crystal clear to them.

“It’s from the locker. It’s your locker, Taylor,” Ian got confused.

“Help me, get me out please,” Chloe’s voice boomed inside it.

“Chloe, is that you?” Ian got closer to the locker. Taylor took her key and unlocked it. Chloe fell right into Ian’s arms, breathing heavily after an hour.

“How...how did you get here? I don’t understand. You are with us at the party,” Taylor blurted in shock.

“Let’s give her some space. Don’t ask questions,” Ian said harshly. Chloe is having a grip on Ian’s shirt tightly. She’s so glad they found her. She won’t have a fate of dying in the locker.

“Becca did this to me. You guys didn’t notice me,” Chloe replied after a few minutes.

“Iam so sorry. I shouldn’t have left you alone,” Ian apologized holding her safely in his arms.

“I won’t let her escape like this. Iam going to find her,” Ian said angrily.

“Okay. I will take care of Chloe,” Taylor told. Ian kissed Chloe’s forehead and walked out of their eyesight. Chloe and Taylor got seated in their classroom

“I need water,” Chloe pleadingly asked.

“Sure. Wait here.” Taylor ran away to get her water. Chloe still doesn’t have her cell phone. Suddenly, she looked down at her feet. It seems like water spilt all over the floor. Her eyes were adjusted to dark for an hour so she looked closer at it.

“Oh my god, oh my god,” Chloe shouted, knocked a chair seeing the blood on the floor. She followed the way it goes. She can’t believe what she’s seeing. Even in a weak state, she followed where the blood goes…

After an hour:

Chloe is the person who approached Caroline, charlotte, Caleb in the dark.

“Ahhhhhhh,” Caroline shouted, giving others a panic attack.

“It’s me. What the heck happened here?” Chloe said with trembling legs. She can’t see whose body lying there, but she’s sure they are dead.

“Chloe. Where have you been? I thought Becca did something to you.” Caroline rushed to hug her sister with one arm.

“She locked me in the locker for an hour and stole my phone. I don't know how she even got the locker key? But can you explain about the person who's here? He/she isn’t dead?” she asked with expectation.

“That’s Becca, and she’s dead. I killed her,” Charlotte said calmly and sounded like she’s just taught how to use the violin to a student.

“Please tell me, you are role playing,”

“No. It’s the truth. Becca tried to kill Caroline. Well, she shot in her arms. So, Charlotte killed her for self-defence.” Caleb let out a sign, looking down at the body.

“OMG, I want this to be a nightmare. Why she wants to kill Caroline?

“Because... because of the footage. I think Iam missing something. Why did she try to kill you for the footage? You didn’t involve in it,” Caleb raised a question after all these days.

“That’s right. Why? you two seem like hiding something,” Charlotte asked Care and Chloe, who kept staring at each other.

“Please don’t be angry. The truth is, Ruby took the footage before she died. She asked me to help, and I gave it to Care and she’s close with Daniel. You all know that. She sent it to him and boom he confronted her,” Chloe explained, waiting for their angry reaction.

“Why tell it now? When you all started keeping secrets from your family. I didn’t care about that but you should have told it,” Caleb shouted, punching his fists on the building wall.

“It’s not time to fight, Caleb. I didn’t think this will end up like this. We can talk about this at home. Now, all we have to do is bury her.” Care pleaded impatiently.

“Fine. But I own an explanation later.” Then, they all buried Becca and closed it. Chloe took her phone from Becca’s pocket before burying it. When it’s all over, it's time to join the party and act like nothing is happening. That’s the difficult task that burying. They never lied badly until this year.

“It’s time for dispersal. Just tell any valid reason to your friends and let’s get this day over. Then we will be having a discussion at home. Don’t forget one thing: if it’s not for Becca and her gun, I would have not killed her.” Charlotte announced.

“Still one thing remaining. We should clean the bloodstain in my class,” Chloe whispered. When everyone agreed, they cleaned the class, Chloe went to lie to Ian and Taylor. Care went home alone so no one will notice her injured arms.

“Where have you been?” Ian held Chloe’s hands.

“I lost my phone. It took me time to search for it.” she’s bad at lying but they didn’t notice it. Ian is happy to see she’s safe.

“We can’t able to find Becca,” Taylor apologized. Chloe’s heart started to beat faster mentioning her name.

“It’s okay. Can we dance?” Chloe changed the topic. Ian smiled and took her hands and led her to dance. On the other side, Charlotte told Jason that her sister called to get some help in giving cupcakes and drinks to students.

“You went without telling me. If you don’t want to dance with me, you should have told me the truth.” Bianca let her words out once she saw Caleb.

“Definitely not. I need to see my sister. Believe me, I want to dance with you, “Caleb lied, holding her hands. Seeing his smiling face, Bianca forgot she’s been angry with him for an hour. With a broken heart of missing Ruby and Becca’s dead face coming to his mind, he danced, showing a calm face. He’s smiling outside and dying inside.
