His voice cut through the air like a knife, his arm reaching for her just as blinding headlights flooded their vision.

The world seemed to slow down as Federico’s warning left his lips, but it was already too late.

The roar of an approaching motorcycle filled the air, and before Antonia could react, the bike slammed into her with devastating force. The impact sent her body crashing onto the hard pavement, her head striking the cold concrete with a sickening thud.

"Antonia!!!" Federico’s voice cracked with panic as he rushed to her side.

The biker hesitated, glancing back for a fleeting second, before revving the engine and speeding off into the distance, disappearing into the night.

Federico’s hands trembled as he cradled Antonia, his heart pounding wildly in his chest. "Help! Somebody, please help

My heart pounded in my chest as I stared at them, my breath hitching. "What do you mean she ran away… and I should take her place as the bride?" My voice came out in a whisper, then a little louder, laced with disbelief. My hands trembled as I took a step back, searching their faces for any sign that this was some kind of twisted joke. But all I saw was urgency… and expectation.I stood frozen, my mind spinning as the weight of the situation crashed over me. "I can't believe my step-sister decided to run away on the day of her wedding… and now I have to take her place." The words felt foreign on my tongue, as if saying them would somehow make them real. My pulse raced, my palms slick with sweat. This wasn’t happening. It couldn’t be. Yet, the expectant stares around me told me otherwise.Tears burned in my eyes as I shook my head furiously, my voice breaking with desperation. "No, Mommy, I can't! “How does it feel to be Mrs. Amato?” Alessandro’s voice was laced with mockery, his disgust evident in every words. His piercing eyes bore into mine, cold and unforgiving, as if daring me to answer.“I hope we live a happily married life,” he added, his tone dripping with sarcasm. Before I could react, his fingers wrapped around my hand, gripping it so tightly that a sharp pain shot through me. Fear crept up my spine as I realized—this wasn’t just a warning. This was a promise."You could end the marriage now while you still have the chance," Alessandro said, his voice cold and indifferent. His piercing gaze locked onto mine, daring me to make a move. "And don’t worry—you won’t have to pay for any damages."There was no warmth in his words, no sign of concern—just a challenge. As if he was testing me, waiting to see if I would crumble under the weight of the decision. My heart pounded in my chest. Was this my escape? Or was it just another trap?."Do you think if I had a choice, I wou

I swallowed hard. Welcome to your new life, Antonia, I told myself. Let the nightmare begin. The first thing that caught my attention was the massive, black gate—taller and more imposing than the one at my former house. My breath caught in my throat as a cold shiver ran down my spine. Slowly, I turned around, my eyes landing on the very people I never expected—never wanted—to see standing in my home.My mother. My stepfather. And her.My stepsister. The room suddenly felt smaller, the walls closing in as my heart pounded against my ribcage.
