SSHS 39
Trigger Warning: cannibals and the likes
Binary Vascular System: a syndrome where a person who has two hearts inside their body and both functions perfectly well. It was first heard of from the show Doctor Who where the doctor was alleged to have two hearts. He’s a human, yes, but he’s also an extra terrestrial. But we are humans. It was never heard of nor was it thought to have been true at all. Or to even be real. Sure a person can have two hearts, but only due to a surgery. But to be naturally born with it? It was something that is unheard of nor will anyone think of it to be happening.
Alexandria’s Genesis: is a medical myth that can be traced back from 2005. It
SSHS 40 The trust that this girl has put on them. It was even— the two spies cannot fathom how can someone as Yulia who was in a lot of danger— could trust them so easily. ‘Is she crazy? How can she be so naive and innocent despite all of the threats that she is in? Hope can she trust us so easily? What if we were the bad guys? What if we were some dark and shady people from the Underworld, belonging to some mafia or a gang that wants and hunts her?’ Those thoughts circled around the minds of Hestia and Albert as they both stare at the oblivious girl who they can't pace if she is really aware of the dangers around her or just not able to clearly realise the extent of it all.
SSHS 41 The lights hanging from the ceiling of the living room can be seen reflecting in the pristine white tiles of the floor. The walls were coated in an elegant design of wallpapers with the soothing colour of pale blue. The sofas have a velvety texture in the colour of white. And it seemed like all the furniture was in the motif of blue and white as to make the atmosphere of the living room light and welcoming. From the rug that is blue, the table of glass in the shade of blue, the velvet curtains of white and everything else. However, even if the colours were seemingly just plain, the minimalist design or interior design of the room made it more interesting. The hallways were a colour of pastel brown. The walls were coated in a pastel brown paint, the brass furniture high
SSHS 42 A spy. Mostly is a person who secretly works for a secret organisation who’s really good at keeping their identity hidden from the world. A spy may learn or have received an adequate— if not— advanced training in all fields possible that they might encounter during a job or a mission, anything outside of those training are personal experiences they have attained. A spy must be always in a low profile, secretive and speaking of little information about themselves, must have critical thinking, always calm, always logical, always calculative. No move must be wasted, no opportunity must be wasted— as a spy, it is a must to be a disciplined person who upholds the orders of their employer, upholds the rules of their organisation and always thinks of the best interest of their client. A spy must have the resolve to do everything
SSHS 43 The sky wasn’t really that inviting, nor can it lift up the mood of anyone who may look at it right now. And surely, it wasn’t a great way of starting the week. That Monday morning was not ready to welcome the people to a new week, even the early birds were greeted with the silent surroundings— no chirping birds or the laughs of those who run in the morning or even the loud steps of the elderlies who take a morning stroll. The grey clouds were on the verge of crying and then there was no single ray of light coming from the sun, the wind was cold and damp and strong and was blowing from all directions, sweeping everything that it could. In a way, it was telling that this is a bad omen.
SSHS 44 Time seemed to be running fast, and yet the happenings were considered minimal and anti-climatic. It was as if that the time was just passing by and the event was nothing but an everyday life. At least, that is what most of the students feel like. It was the third week of September and at this time, not only is it the beginning of orientation and training of the new members of the club, but it is also the time for the quarterly midterm examinations. The midterm examination was an assessment on how they were able to comprehend their learnings and also their memory. Everyone was on their edge, furiously reaching out to their hard-working classmates for notes, conducting group studies and even asking for tutors. They dreaded the P.E. subject more as it is more of the ap
SSHS 45 Just like before, just like what happened to Arthur’s and Aaron’s case, it seemed like it was a trend to have the characters freeze once they are presented or they have encountered such an extreme situation— or maybe it is the normal reaction to such things. After all, any person who was presented with a situation where their secret is unravelled, the only reaction that is appropriate for such a thing is to freeze, as the brain stopped working— or rather, took the time to stop all motions to focus everything about this. Finding a way out of this, averting her attention into something. He can’t let her find him out so soon. That would be a huge problem. &l
SSHS 46 On the way to the nearest infirmary, Albert needed to constantly fix his hold to Yulia. ‘Who knew that such a petite girl would weigh so much like this?’ he thought to himself as he fixed his hold of her for the fourth time as they neared the infirmary, she was always squirming and making some grunt noises as they walked to the infirmary, and so Albert needed to constantly fix his hold to her. It is a good thing that the clinic was placed on the first floor of the building or else it would be quite a hell— in his perspective at least. With both his hands occupied, he couldn’t kock, and so he just called out, “Hello? Is someone inside? Please open the door, I have an unconscious girl here!” he said as he used a foot to bang at the door.
SSHS 47 At first it was a buzz, then a second buzz and then it rang. Hastily pulling her phone out of her pocket, she quickly glanced at the caller and pushed the answer button. “Where are you right now? We have a meeting today, remember?” the person from the other end of the line said in annoyance to the receiver of the call. A little short of breath, she replied, “Sorry, an emergency occurred. A student collapsed in front of me and I had to bring her to the infirmary first. Don’t worry, I’m on my way there.” and with that, she ended the call. Not caring about what the other person might say when she arrived. Hestia ran as fast as she could into the building where the Student Council Office is located, not caring about the students who passed by her and attempted t
