SSHS 175 “Why do you even need to think of it? The people are clear they want us again in full force, just hire us already!” Excami exclaimed to his brother and she put down her application form for a position in the Student Council. Although she was aiming for the Vice President position since she does not want to ever work again with that arrogant Arthur Camelton Beckett. “And besides, it’s better this way since we already know how the things work and what to do with them. It will just level up our efficiency when it comes to our work progress.” she added. Damian listened to this and took it into consideration.
SSHS 176 Damian thought about it, that it was better to just recruit the former Student Council as Officers since they are already accustomed to their jobs and knows how things works, but then again, he still thinks of how about the opportunities that can be given to the other students— the opportunity to also be part of the Student Council. However, due to the constant nagging of his sister, he was not able to think things that long and deep. So he settled on the fact that the students have expressed their want for the former Student Council Officers to run things again and that it would be better if they did. “And besides, do you think some of them would actually grab a position here? Hello, they want to just relax and lay low if you did not see it.” Excami added as she ended her nagging to her brother. Though she might be applying for a different position, she really did want to have the old crew back. She was already comfortable with them and that they already know how to do th
SSHS 177 As Hestia can remember it, it was as hectic as the first time she was a Student Council member. All those paperworks, those schedules, fund forms and all the signing were present— yet again. And it made her remember the exhaustion it cost her. She remembered the headache she had last year when reading the proposed funds, the reports and the overly wrong grammar of the papers given to them by the clubs. “It’s the same errors as before. Have they not learned at all?” Hestia grunted on herself as she lay down the pile of papers on the table. According to the application form they submitted to the Faculty Office: Excami is now the Student Council Vice President and she— Hestia— bears the position as the Student Council Secretary. There are certain responsibilities and duties of the Student Council Secretary that she inherited last year— since they lacked a Secretary back then. Though the load was not as heavy as she expected, seeing the same mistake as before was something she
SSHS 178 Grabbing the opportunity presented to her at night, Hestia ventures out in the darkness to do her task: placing the cameras and listening bugs. She is well aware of the placements of the security cameras of the school— she has memorised the blueprint of it after all— and she was using it to her advantage to not get noticed or even be captured by any camera. By doing so, she can also identify the blind spots that further bad guys may use in the wrong way and could hurt the students as the worst case scenario. She cannot recommend those or inform the school itself of those blind spots— she will be questioned if she did. Once she was done, she swiftly went back to her dorm room and logged in to see if all the cameras and listening bugs were all working perfectly. She also contacted Albert about this and informed him of the updates. “They are all placed now. Now we can monitor them.” her voice was almost a whisper, yet still that cold and monotone. “Thanks Hestia. By the way
SSHS 179 Hestia has a lot of path to take to make this mission going. The only problem is, she needs the target to cooperate too. If only Freya would willingly allow her to approach, then this mission could have gone in a smooth start, but due to the past conflicts, confrontation and interrogation, both Arthur and Freya were wary enough to not let the Student Council Secretary to be anywhere near them. Although the two lovers were cautious enough to stay vigilant and to never be seen with each other— let alone glance with those heart eyes— it seemed that they had planned ahead of Hestia. They may not know of the mission, but they are indeed cautious around her. Well, Arthur may know that she is a spy, but then again, she has yet to deny or agree to the speculation of the tech guy. Though it may not matter at this point, in fact, it is already a late matter and there is no merit in coming clean or patching it up. But Hestia knew that whatever Arthur knew or knows would become a hin
SSHS 180 It was the end of the second week of the month of August. Students were rejoicing because ‘thank god it's friday’ and they can’t wait to spend their weekend relaxing or enjoying an eat out with their families. For the clubs, it’s their time to plan ahead for their recruitment plans, on how they will utilise every resource they have in order to recruit as many students as they can. The weekend is also being utilised by the school to invite people to host their Charity Event in the La Florence Academy. For the Student Council, it was their time to also relax. They have also planned ahead of time for the possible Charity Events that can happen in the third week of August. Although they have even contacted some people they are in connection with to ask them and convince them to host their charity events in the La Florence Academy, but they have yet to receive any reply or response about the matter. They are hopeful that at least three known people were to do a charity event—
SSHS 181 Cafe de Luna was a cafe that was considered as a rare thing to exist. It is rated five stars because of its magnificent service, food quality and whatnot. But the thing that made Cafe de Luna sought after and considered rare by the people: was that Cafe de Luna is not your regular cafe where you can just enter whenever you want. Cafe de Luna operates in a reservation system. You cannot go in if you don’t have a reservation beforehand. And that guests must appear never a minute late, or else their reservation will be revoked and dismissed then and there. That is why, even if the location of the cafe was somewhere not that densely pop;ulated, they still have so many customers. A table was not left empty even for five minutes, that is why they have to be fast when clearing the table. But guests were willing to wait just to taste the food and drinks that the cafe offers. That is how highly regarded they are. “Woah…” Albert muttered in a low tone, followed by a whistle. Who kn
SSHS 182 “Goodness, that was so satisfying.” After a burp, Albert massaged his stomach, his face full of satisfaction from all the food he ate and drinks he drank. His hunger was satisfied. Hestia on the other hand, barely touched her: she only ate half of the sandwich and drank only half of the cappuccino latte that was specifically for her. Albert, spotting the half finished food, eagerly pointed at it and asked her, “Can I have those?” his eyes were sparkling at the front of the food. She only responded with a nod and he quickly snatched teh sandwich from the plate and devoured it in seconds. He also drank the cappuccino latte in seconds and let out a satisfied sigh followed by a burp. “That is so good,” he said again. Hestia stood up from her chair and walked around the room again, checking it one more time before settling at the bay window and looking at the restroom door. “Can you tell us why you made us come here now?” her voice was a bit cold and annoyed— she was getting mo
