SSHS 170“I say we go to that alleyway unless you want every passer by know that pretty little secret of yours, and some person out there.” Hestia added. With that, Arthu was convinced that whatever Hestia knows, it is something better talked about in the privacy of darkness and lack of people around. Arthur was racking his brain as they walked into the alleyway. Since it was still daytime, there was sure no bad guys hanging out in this alleyway, but that is not his concern as of the moment. He tried racking his brain as to what Hestia would hold about him. He tried remembering the things he did and if he ever did something that made it a dead giveaway for the rookie undercover spy, or if he said something that led to the similar outcome, or that maybe, someone around him spilled something about him and that led to this situation. Arthur tried so hard to recount his steps and remember his words but nothing comes into mind that might lead to this result. Then they were already at the
SSHS 171 Thinking about it, the timeline is so weird and so out of the course. If Arthur was with Freya from their first year and they lasted that long without anyone finding out, then what is the reason for Arthur flirting with all of the other girls? And what was Freya’s reaction to it? Are they even still together? And looking back, does she know of what Arthur did— about the ‘Blackmailing Incident’? In fact, if Hestia remembers correctly, Freya was also a victim of it. Everything is disorganised and messy all of a sudden. Instead of answers, she was faced with even more questions. And not only that, it seemed that this kind of cycle has been going on for so long that she almost got used to it. This kind of cycle was like a cliche story line of a novel dealing with mystery, and somehow, this pisses her off. “Sure that the prolonged suspense was beneficial to hook them up, but it would be better for my mission to obtain the answers as soon as possible.” she muttered to herself as
SSHS 172 The last week of the Summer Break was coming to an end. It was Sunday and the students availing the dorms were flooding the school for them to settle down with their rooms. It also gave them a heads up in collecting the required books from the library. Many flocked the library to browse or to at least have an advance reading of their lessons. Teachers are also their to add references to their lesson plans and sometimes help the students they come across with.Hestia, however, cannot be seen in the library. Aside from the reasoning that she did not need to, she also has other duties and tasks to complete.
SSHS 173She can be seen taking a stroll around the school ground: checking the buildings, admiring the flowers and the green grasses. It was Summer at that time anyways, every colour of every plant was close to being pastel bright. It was so fun to look at them. It was fun admiring them as they glisten with the help of the rays of the sun. Truly, it was such a nice walk, but she had to finish what she was doing. Re- installing all the cameras and listening bugs to the places she planned before, she made sure that they were camouflaged perfectly and hidden well to the point that not even Arthur Camelton Beckett would not find them. She had grown suspicious of the boy ever since their conversation last time. From the unanswered questions that she has up to the things that Arthur knows about her. Worst case scenario, Arthur uses that information against her. Even in the even more worst case scenario, Arthur spreads that information— she would not have anything to counter it. If she wer
SSHS 174 The news of Damian being elected as the Student Council President again was ringing throughout the whole school. Though they were happy about it, they were not particularly happy with the fact that there are no other candidates, and they are even wondering why the possible candidates backed out. The students did demand to know the people who backed out, but the School Board decided that it is better to keep them hidden— private— for their own safety. The students were left to wonder who they were. Damian, on the other hand, was a bit conflicted about the situation. Being the Student Council President again means that he has to choose his co- members. There was a desire to re- elect his former members, but that would take away the opportunity for the others to experience what it is like being a part of the Student Council. It was a conflicting thought. a
SSHS 175 “Why do you even need to think of it? The people are clear they want us again in full force, just hire us already!” Excami exclaimed to his brother and she put down her application form for a position in the Student Council. Although she was aiming for the Vice President position since she does not want to ever work again with that arrogant Arthur Camelton Beckett. “And besides, it’s better this way since we already know how the things work and what to do with them. It will just level up our efficiency when it comes to our work progress.” she added. Damian listened to this and took it into consideration.
SSHS 176 Damian thought about it, that it was better to just recruit the former Student Council as Officers since they are already accustomed to their jobs and knows how things works, but then again, he still thinks of how about the opportunities that can be given to the other students— the opportunity to also be part of the Student Council. However, due to the constant nagging of his sister, he was not able to think things that long and deep. So he settled on the fact that the students have expressed their want for the former Student Council Officers to run things again and that it would be better if they did. “And besides, do you think some of them would actually grab a position here? Hello, they want to just relax and lay low if you did not see it.” Excami added as she ended her nagging to her brother. Though she might be applying for a different position, she really did want to have the old crew back. She was already comfortable with them and that they already know how to do th
SSHS 177 As Hestia can remember it, it was as hectic as the first time she was a Student Council member. All those paperworks, those schedules, fund forms and all the signing were present— yet again. And it made her remember the exhaustion it cost her. She remembered the headache she had last year when reading the proposed funds, the reports and the overly wrong grammar of the papers given to them by the clubs. “It’s the same errors as before. Have they not learned at all?” Hestia grunted on herself as she lay down the pile of papers on the table. According to the application form they submitted to the Faculty Office: Excami is now the Student Council Vice President and she— Hestia— bears the position as the Student Council Secretary. There are certain responsibilities and duties of the Student Council Secretary that she inherited last year— since they lacked a Secretary back then. Though the load was not as heavy as she expected, seeing the same mistake as before was something she
