SSHS 161 Sir Tremblay shivered and trembled as he saw the sea of people in front of the elevator doors. Moreover, the taser wire is still connected to him and Hestia can shock him once again if he ever poses as a greater threat one more time. ‘But what if the taser has a loading time? Maybe it needs to be recharged for a certain amount of time before being able to shock me in that calibre again. But then again, no matter what I do, I am already ruined since they know what I have done— assuming that it is— yeah, it is better to proceed on plan b.’ Sir Tremblay thought to himself as he analysed the situation. He tried to think of how he can execute his plan as grandiose and efficiently as it is— in a way that he will not suffer the most of it. Then he noticed the crowd, they were reacting to the pheromone perfume that was still strongly smelling. They were reacting the same way that the students did: the men were scrunching their nose and trying to cover their nose to not smell tha
SSHS 162 The incident went away as fast as it came. The ambulance took Hestia and Excami to the hospital to have a more in depth check up as they are heavily affected by the pheromone perfume. The police present at the scene were collecting statements from the students who were involved in the situation, as well as assisting them to eradicate the smell still lingering at the building itself. They also towed the car away as driving it themselves is impossible due to the pheromone perfume. And there are a lot of bystanders near the scene as they are wrapping up the case. “Dean Malcolm, can we talk for a second?” one of the police officers said in a whisper tone so as to not attract more attention to them. This case is already scandalous as it is, and right after the ‘Hostage taking Incident’ at that. Covering this up would mean too much work for the police itself. Moving away from the ears of the people, they proceeded to talk. “Can we take Montague, Wallenstien and Beckett to the p
SSHS 163 Summer break was something the students often look forward to, as it is when they get to relax without even thinking of school. To relax with their families, friends and even relationship partners. It is a joyous time for them indeed. But then again, things have come to an end. Many of the students were catching their flight back to their houses since the school will start in less than a week, and they have yet to complete all of the requirements they need: new set of uniforms (since some of them had a growth spurt), then the school supplies and other things. Then there are those students who need to go back to their dorms and need another round of transferring their things and redecorating the whole dorm room. And since the fourth years who have graduated already left their dorm rooms, there is a rel;ocation of the room allocation as well as which rooms will be open. Students who wanted to stay in the dorm were flooding the school registrar to get a dorm room. “I’m really
SSHS 164 “So, I suppose you are here to shop for some school supplies?” Freya asked as she too, put the two sets of highlighters in her basket. “Yes.” Hestia simply answered as she added more contents inside her basket: ballpens, tape erasers, glue sticks and many more. Freya looked at her with a raised brow and asked, “Really? I thought you are one of those kids who just orders or gets their servant to do the shopping?” to this, Hestia shook her head as a response. Aside from the reason that this is for a mission, she also likes it if she were to shop for her things— for quality purposes. “Well, wow. You really are a student model, huh. Student Council Vice President.” the cheerleader said with a giggle at the end and continued with her shopping. Hestia followed the senior student all throughout the store, also collecting the things she needed and often helped Freya decide what to get. Once their baskets were all full and their list all complete, they both headed towards the co
SSHS 165 Hestia and Freya’s conversion lasted longer than what the rookie undercover spy had expected. Although she did try her best to stir the conversation in a way that Freya would talk more about herself and talk more about how she knew about the meeting, Hestia seemed to have not been successful in that part. In fact, it seemed like all of her plans had not been going on as it should that entire day. Things are just, going on the flow of someone else’s. “Freya, how did you know about the meeting?” Hestia asked again, but this time, her voice was much softer than before, as if she was coaxing the senior cheerleader to spill the tea and tell her where or from who she knew of the information. Hestia knew that she was going somewhere, that Freya was on to something. That Freya was hiding something from her. It is obvious on how the senior cheerleader was acting as they were talking: she cannot even look the Student Council Vice President in the eyes— her eyes were daring from left
SSHS 166 CONTROVERSIAL. If ever the Journalism Club hears this, it will make it to the front page of the monthly newspaper. It will be such a huge news that the whole school will be talking abt it for so long. “Please don’t tell anyone about it. It would be a huge scandal in my records.” Freya said with a meek and shy voice, her hands in praying position as she begged Hestia to not speak even a word about it. But then again, mystery lurks behind that story. “Why? What would happen if people were to know that?” Hestia asked with a raised brow. Fumbling again with her fingers, Freya tries to form the words that she will say to Hestia. Not only the story behind her reason was also confidential and scandalous, it also is a bitter one in her records. “Well, our fathers had a teenie, tiny misunderstanding and it turned into a full blown conflict. You do know, from the news, that my father— an owner of an airline, and his father— the owner of a technology company; much like Elon Musk—
SSHS 167 Hestia’s and Freya’s conversation went on for a bit longer until they saw the beautiful hues of the late afternoon sky— blues and violets and blacks. That is when they have decided that it is time for them to go back: Freya to her house and Hestia to her dorm. “Well, I don’t know but, I think this new you is just really great. It may be a byp[roduct of all those traumatic things we— or rather— you experienced last school year, but, this is great. I just hope that you won’t experience those things anymore and that you stay as bright as you are right now.” the senior cheerleader said as she before saying goodbye to the rookie undercover spy. Hestia only replied with a nod and a smile before waving goodbye to the senior cheerleader. Watching as Freya entered her car and sped away from hestia’s line of sight, that is when her smile melted away and was replaced by her thin straight lips. ‘Who knew smiling for that long would be so much painful for the facial muscles?’ Hestia th
SSHS 168Following Freya was not that hard in the first place. It was, in fact, really easy to know where she is at the moment. And just following one of her socials was enough to know that she was at the same cafe. What Hestia did not know was that Arthur would also be there with her. Before the 'Samgyupsal' session was over, Hestia simply sent a message to Arthur saying that she wanted to talk to him– privately. Of course, Arthur checked the message out but immediately replied that he was not available at the moment. Shrugging her shoulder, Hestia let it be.
SSHS 247After the Thanksgiving dinner that night and that mission, the two rookie undercover spies went on with their days. They went on being the ‘normal’ third years that they are and continued being the third years that they are. No more missions were given to them after the mission about the Montague couple and they do not know if the headquarters of the ISO where sympathising with their shock or if there is really no more mission for them to do. But either way, they are glad that they were able to finish the mission in such a short time and also experience being students as they are. They went on and experienced things as if they were normal people and not some spies who were trained at the very young age. Not some undercover people who are in there for the sake of completing their mis
SSHS 246After the game it was already time for dinner, Damian and Excami won because none of them were able to find out what kind of thing they had and they were all tagged out of the game. It was fun for the most part but what everyone waited for was the thanksgiving dinner and it was satisfying. They enjoyed every bite and they waited for the dessert because it was the star of the dinner the dessert. Then after eating, they lounged a little longer by the dinner table and talked about all the other things, like the fun times that they had in school, the love story between the Montague couple how they met how they fell in love and then almost talked about how they conceived the children but thankfully damien and Excami stopped them before it happened. The Montague siblings almost asked about the families of Hestia and Albertand what kind of stori
SSHS 245Sometime later, it is already the Month Of October and things have been going smoothly both for the Montague siblings and for the two rookie undercover spies and for the Montague couple. for the course of the month of october, Hestia and Albert had been invited for dinners and lunches by either Damian or Excami and would always result for a dinner together with their parents and with that the bond between all of them had grow and become stronger and they were more close with each other than ever before. But there is something that the two rookie undercover spies can not pinpoint at all. because most of the past missions they have been assigned to, they are always making the opportunity to get close to the target; they are always making the opportunity to do something, to create a movement, a pattern, a path for their mission t
Sshs 244The next day, Hestia and Albert walked side by side to their classroom. Apparently, the whole school knew of the incident yesterday: Mrs. . Montague pulled them out for the whole day and never came back until the wee hours of the night. Some people tried to block them and ask a ton of questions about what happened yesterday; questions like: what happened? Where did you go? What did she say? Was she generous? Was she kind? Was she loving and sweet and like a saint when she visited back at the beach house? What did you talk about with her? Such a ton of questions were asked to them and yet they remained silent about it. No comment, no answers, just complete silence as they went through
SHS 243 They ate in silence, up until dessert. No one spoke a word and it stayed that way until they were brought into the library. No one spoke as each of them were encouraged to pick a book in the vast collection of books inside the library. As they sat into the chairs available at the library, only then did the conversation start at the pretence of wanting to know what book they found. “How about you, Hestia? Albert? What book did you pick?” Hestia and Albert then lifted up the books that they picked. Mrs. Montague cooed at the books in their hands and proceeded to analyse them. “Wow! You live up to your personality. Unlike someone else.” Mrs. Montague threw in the shade as she briefly looked at her children who were silently reading with their father on the other side of the library. It was not quite far, but it seemed that the Montague siblings were so immersed in what they were reading that they did not notice the shade that was thrown at them by their
SSHS 242 As the three of them sat in silence without any of them taking a bite of their food, they tried to process the information that was at their table. The Montague siblings have been showing two different personalities and all between being inside the school and at school. If at school, they were glorified as students who are the top role models; a fun and energetic one and a gentle ruler, both were on ground and knew how to touch some grass. At home, they are the arrogant siblings who think they are better than anyone and will not even go down to their current level. It was as if they know the a person with the same name and yet still different by how they act.&nb
SSHS 241 A new school year started right before their eyes. Without any mission to worry about, time passed by the two rookie undercover spies and with barely any notice, they were in their third years. There were a lot of things that happened but they were used to it and it passed by them like a flash of the camera and after that, it was already in the middle of the month of September. The voting for the new Student Council began and the whole school was bussing with noises and the representative of the running Student Council President was shouting and getting people to vote for their candidates. “Please vote for…” one student shouted. “No, please vote for…” another student shouted. It was the start of the shouting battle between the two parties running for the Student Council President position. It created so much commotion that Damian had to step up and break the commotion apart. “Enough with this! This is so immature of you! Can’t you go and make your da
SSHS 240 As the surroundings dimmed into darkness, the light sensors in the gymnasium began to light up. Freya’s eyes adjusted from the dark and into the light that the sensor lights brought up. She shielded her eyes with her hands from the sudden light and that was Albert’s cue to remove himself from the sight of the Senior Cheerleader and go behind her. This is not to catch her off guard--- oh she was already caught off guard by the time she mentioned the Pandora’s Box--- but it was his way to not let Freya do anything anymore that will put herself into more danger. It is better if she just surrenders to them in a plain and simple manner.&
SSHS 239 “By the way, how were the Montague siblings? I have not heard from them after that incident with Arthur.” Albert asked. The two rookie undercover spies were roaming around the campus, taking a leisure walk as they passed by some of the students who were headed for their extra curricular activities. The two of them do indeed have some activities too but it was all done. Hestia is done with her paper works and scheduling for the Student Council and Albert was also done with his portfolio for the Photography Club with the theme of ‘After Christmas’. There was a moment of silence to the part of Hestia before she answered the inquiry of her spy partner. “They have been normal, acting as they always have as far as I am concerned. Although Excami now has her guard up always and was weary of everything and everyone, she is as cheerful as ever. Well, it is Damian who changed. He became more strict and protective of his sister, and he also became colder.” Hest
