Chapter 61 Jessica's Job

"Laura, it's me. I'm going to take your grandma out to do some shopping and prepare for the winter. I want to buy some coats for her. Can you accompany Jessica to the hospital for a checkup? It isn't Luke's day off today. I don't want Jessica to go alone."

Laura furrowed her brows. 'She wants me to go with Jessica to the hospital for a checkup?'

After giving it some thought, Laura nodded. "Okay."

Shona's lips curved into a smile after she hung up.

Linda walked into the room and just happened to see Shona holding her phone. She frowned and asked, "Shona, what are you doing with my phone?"

"Oh, nothing, Mom. My phone doesn't have any credit left, so I used your phone to make a call." Shona didn't seem to panic at all. She then placed the phone back where she found it.
