Chapter 449 Rejecting Amelia

Mrs. Summers' words caused Amelia's heart to skip a beat. Her hair stood on end and her eyes widened. However, Mrs. Summers kept on looking in the direction that Laura had left, so she didn't notice the change in Amelia's expression.

Amelia moved her lips and said, "Mom, I think you've made a mistake. My brother's eyes are very good-looking. It would be rare for a person's eyes to be as good-looking as his."

Mrs. Summers didn't answer Amelia's words. She and Amelia held hands as they walked out of the shopping center.

Amelia pretended to say casually, "My friend was born in Empfield and raised there all her life. She had never left Empfield before. This is her first visit to Jeswood. I'll show her around tomorrow."

Mrs. Summers nodded. "You're friends, so you should show her around Jeswood."

Amelia smiled.

After dinner, Laura and the others went to a few more places before they headed back to the hotel.

At the entrance, they bumped into Chris who was just about to head inside.
