"There's no need to thank me, my child." Madam Jacobs smiled. "By the way, that staff of yours at the previous store, Shannon. Where is she?"

Laura immediately knew what Madam Jacobs wanted to ask after hearing those words.

Her lips curved into a smile and said, "She's with me. She's working at my new convenience store now."
