Nicole turned and looked at Laura. She then said, "During this annual summary meeting, I'm going to mobilize some staff. Rewards and punishments should be equal. Only then can we motivate everyone to do their best."

"For the employees of the top 10 stores mentioned, we'll reward them with 1,000 dollars each."

"What? 1,000 dollars? The reward was only 400 dollars in the past."

"Miss Wayne is so generous. She's actually rewarding people with 1,000 dollars each. I'm so jealous. Our store missed the top 10 by an inch."
