It was already getting late. Laura was prepared to take Linda and Jill out to get something to eat.

The three of them went to a bakery for food. After they finished eating, Laura received a call from Chris.

"Where are you?" Chris's deep voice sounded on the other end of the line. "I've brought Grandma and Grandaunt out for dinner. Have you had anything to eat?"

"Not yet."

"Do you want anything to eat? We're at a bakery. I can get something for you."

Chris was driving. When he heard Laura's words, he hesitated before saying, "Okay."

Laura told Chris where she was on WhatsApp and then told Linda and Jill to take a seat and wait for Chris. She then went to choose something to eat for Chris according to his taste.
