Chapter 25: Drunk And Free

“Luna, you had already drunk a whole bottle of wine and now you’ve asked for whiskey. You’re definitely going to end up drunk,” Donna kept on reprimanding yet she was continuously pouring my glass with it.

“Just join me, Donna.” I handed her another glass, but just like what she had done before, she declined.

“You shouldn’t drink too much, Luna. You might wake up tomorrow with the worst headache.”

She placed the bottle of whiskey that was halved back down the table in front of us.

“So what?” I shrugged. “That’s fine, Donna. I’ll just have painkillers. But what was important tonight was that we have fun!” I rose from my seat, raising my right hand, which was holding the glass.

“After going through the worst punishment Samuel could ever give, I need this,” I murmured before looking back at her. “On top of that, I found out that it was all part of their plan to save his ass from doing what he promised, which they called a disgrace to his name!”

“It’s really unfair, Luna. I know—”
