Chapter 22: For Myself

“You’re really feisty, hmm?” she hysterically laughed.

With just one flick of her fingers and a high-pitched yell, a guard quickly attended inside the cell.

“Bring me a chain, rope, and a whip here! Now!”

The guard just nodded and turned to give her what she demanded, when Maya added, “And also, take this other piece of trash out of here.”

“Are you sure?” the guard hesitated, staring at Donna. “Because it was Alpha’s strict rule that whoever—”

His shoulders vibrated when Maya yelled, “Alpha entrusted me with her punishment! And that includes taking away her only ally. Do you get it?!”

Scared, the guard just nodded. He pulled out Donna from the corner.

“No! Don’t! I’ll stay here!” She was continuously hitting the guard and pushing him away. His balled-up fist was raised ready to hit Donna when I intervened in between, blocking Donna’s face from his fist.

“You don’t need to hurt her. She’ll come,” I calmly said.

“No, Luna, I won’t!”

“Donna, just go out with him. I’ll be fine her
