BLAIR POV

I tried to make fast struggle of my breakfast despite Ronnell urging me to take all the time in the world. I felt he wouldn't really understand that two to three minutes of alone time was a luxury at this point in time in my life but all my thoughts came to a tragic end when the loud cry of Nathan hit my entire gut.

They were soft cries but they made me lose the rest of my appetite.

Shit. I had taken way too long just sipping my cocoa-iced tea and scrolling through my phone. He only really cried when he was hungry. So, he must have run out of patience.
