Chapter sixty-six

I shook my head and started looking at him like he just popped out another head.

"Why should he want me dead but I am not a threat to him?"

"You are a threat to him, dear,"

"How?"

"You are a threat to his reputation,"

I gently lifted my gaze at him as my two eyelids caressed together in a deep frown.

"A threat to his reputation!" I repeat

"Yes, you are mated to his son, the first son that is the future Alpha of their pack,"

I swallowed and clenched my fist together to control my anger.

He killed my parents and now he wants me dead.

I am the only one remaining in our lineage and that of the pack but he still wants me dead.

I think that I was too relaxed and reluctant about this whole drama of averaging my parent's death.
