Allen's pov:The early morning sun casts its rays against my face through the small opening of the window.Stirring around, I groaned and turned to the other side when dragging the duvet to cover myself.Flipping and flapping on the bed like a fish brought out from the water, I sighed and snapped my eyes open and that's when it struck on me.How did I get here? This is not where I was the last time that I could remember. I was in the woods with Albin tearing ourselves off.Yes! That reminds me where could Amelia possibly be right now? Trying to force myself out of bed, my head bangs me hard."Ah," I groaned when patting my forehead.I recalled getting hit from the back when I was fighting with Albin and I think that it was then that I lost consciousness. I sighed and slowly stood up from my bed, inside my room, I smiled and walked toward the bathroom.I remembered seeing the man that called himself my father on the scene but what did he do……… Authorizing that I got hit from behind W
The claws piercing through my skin tore my flash in the process, tiny blood seemed to trickle out from the injury. I staggered back and stared at him with a dropped jaw, he was fuming in anger with a smirk playing on Albin's lips. But something was creaking in my head, *Is he truly my father?* because he doesn't act or seem like one. Why so much resentment? Everything about me infuriates and disgusts him. Where did I go wrong? "Where is she?" I opened my mouth but another word came out, all I had in my head was her. Is all about her. "That is my mate that you are talking about?!" Albin latched out, my gaze shifted to him before they darted back to my father. "Never!" He growled shutting the both of us up, "You will get a chosen mate!" "What, father?!" I stood and watched Albin hum in response. "She is my mate," my face scrunched in anger as I stood there and watched him lay claim to her. Ethan is finding it difficult not to snap off his head, not only Ethan, but I also
Walking down the corridor, I sighed with my hands dipped inside my pants pocket. My face abraded in anger, the Inner corners of my eyebrows raised, my eyelids loose, and my lip corners pulled down. I don't think that I have to keep wallowing or overthinking about what took place there a few minutes ago. Yes, it is draining and frustrating but at the end of the day I couldn't do much. Walking toward the penitentiary where I assume that my father will have Amelia tied down. I couldn't seem to get her off my head and as it stands now I need to save her shit out from here. Stopping in front of the penitentiary, the guards bowed as an act of submissiveness, I nodded at them and tried taking a step forward when suddenly my path was blocked. I arched my eyebrow at them with my lips curling in anger, "What's that for?" "Alpha Albin ordered us not to let in here," one of the guards said, earning a quirk brow me. "Albin, huh," I smiled tenderly. I glanced at them and tried to walk in
Amelia's pov:The quietness of the place makes it scary, my eyelid felt hard to snap open. My hair was loosely flowing half covering my face with my two hands chained up with silver bands My tattered clothes are not helping either as I looked exhausted and weary.Everything is painfully cold, silver bands usually lead to a burning sensation in any low-circulation or exposed areas. I could feel it trickling and burning my wrist around the area that it was chained to.The winds are not happening either, I could feel frostbite in the injured areas. The chilly winds biting into my skin caused it to hurt more. I grit my teeth which seem like they were frozen angrily.I am still feeling a little drowsy, the content that they injected into my body still has some effect on me.Elena is oddly quiet, I haven't felt her since I woke up. My stomach grumbles in hunger but I can't do anything not when I am chained and trapped inside a penitentiary. The long chains were whirling me around as I st
Standing in the penitentiary with my hands chained to the ceiling, my hair flowed down covering my face.I looked vulnerable and weak with my knees looking wobbly to stand on their own.The only sound that can be heard is the sound erupting from the chain as it swirls me around. They were done with the torture at least that was what I thought till I felt the entrance door pulled open and that demon mate of mine walked inside but this time around he is alone.I bit my tongue in anger as I slowly lifted my gaze to stare at him, walking majestically like he owned the whole place.Stopping in front of me, he dipped out his hand from his pants pocket and lifted my chin.My eyes pierced sharply into him, glaring at him with so much hatred. He smiled before leaning toward me, "I know that you hate me too much, that my gut disgusts you but you know what…….?" His eyebrow twitched up in mockery, "I don't care for a bit," he snarled, baring out his teeth."You seemed to care about my brother mo
Allen's pov:Running through the woods to lessen my anger after the encounter I had with Albin earlier today. The fact that I couldn't see her and the fact that she needs me now but I couldn't do anything. Fast pacing the trees around the woods like a flash, the earthly breeze kept blowing around me pulling my wolf furs along. My paws kept hitting the ground, shoving up sand as I ran through the woods, breathing through the air to calm myself. And just then due to the height hearing of my wolf, I was able to detect a rustling sound from behind.Slowly stopping on my track, I allowed my eyes to dart quickly around the woods scanning the whole place for the intruder. My wolf's ear perked up, veering around I started striding toward that direction. With a slow and steady step, I started ambling in that direction. Stopping in front of the place where I assumed that the noise was coming from, using my wolf inner sight I scanned the place before they settled on two old men causing my jaw
"You just have to be careful," I said to him."I think that you should be the one that I will be telling that not when you so much want to owe your father's trust," I smiled at his words.Giving him a side hug and shaking our hands, we parted ways like we didn't just have a conversation. Time to activate the plan………….Hurrying outside through the back of the penitentiary, I first stride to where the storage room is located. Apparently, no one is there.Pushing the door open, I sneaked in and went straight to the path where the drill bits were kept and pulled out one. Rushing toward the back of the penitentiary with it, I positioned it in such a way that could be easier for me.Placing the tip at the wall, I waited for Ryan to dish out information to me before I could start anything.Minutes seem like hours and hours seem like a whole day, I backed a bit and sat down while still waiting for him to give me a go-ahead order."Hey! Anything……" I asked him through the mind-link."Not yet
Amelia's pov:It was so cloudy and dark out there, the chilly breeze hit my face pulling along with my hair as I stared tiredly outside the window.Everything is gone, there is no feeling of joy. I am just tired, I wonder sometimes what is really best for me but right now myself doesn't matter. What they did to me and that of my parents matters! It has been four days since my escape, four freaking days! And here I am striving to survive the endless pain that will surely leave an eternal scar. Allen and others have been a handful since that freaking four days.I couldn't believe that Allen could get along with Jade and Jerome, not when I knew how much he despised them, though maybe I think that he is doing that because of me; connecting with them all because of me.I sighed with a gulp, I didn't want to keep thinking of him or have the assumption that everything that he is doing is all because of me. Because that will do me no good but harm.I blink and tear my gaze away from the sky.
