"Don't get angry! It's my fault. I got too anxious seeing Melissa's vital signs spike." Sean sighed. "I've already convinced the Lane family not to pursue Thomas' assault on Melissa any further.

"Can we end it here? She knows nothing, and I don't plan to tell her. Let her believe that Thomas is already dead. Can you stop as well?"
