"Okay!" Angeline replied.

When she and Sean arrived at her home, Lucy had already left, leaving the dishes on the table. While waiting for the rice to be cooked, Angeline sat on the sofa to review the documents.

Sean changed into his casual clothes and approached her, gently patting the back of her head. He lifted her chin to kiss her when the doorbell rang.

She quickly got up and, wearing her slippers, went to open the door. Sean exhaled heavily, his expression revealing a hint of irritation.

From the security camera, she saw that it was Asher. She hurried to open the door.

"Mommy!"

"Mom!"

The two young children darted in, hugging her legs on either side. Surprised, Angeline quickly crouched down to hug her children while looking up at Asher with unconcealed delight in her eyes.

She asked, "Mr. Millstone, why did you bring the kids over?"

"It's Friday, and Mr. Lawson Senior thought you might want to spend a couple of days with them," said Asher.

He glanced at Sean, who had g
