Chapter 439

Angeline was taken aback.

"How's that possible?"

Sean released his mouse and moved away, leaving space between him and his computer.

"Come and see it for yourself."

She circled his desk to stand before the computer. She bent down to grip the mouse and looked down as she compared the figures.

Sean looked at Gary and Ewan.

"You two can return to work for now."

Gary nodded, leaving with Ewan in tow. The door shut behind them, leaving Angeline and Sean alone inside.

Sean got up and pushed the chair from behind Angeline. She thanked him and sat down as she compared the figures seriously.

He stood behind her and took in her features, which were lit by the computer screen's light. He placed a hand on the back of the chair and leaned down to point out the error he'd detected.

"Here it is."

Angeline compared it with the one in the document. There was indeed something wrong with it.

"I need to use your phone."

She called her secretary's office and had someone verify the figures
