Chapter 244

Angeline looked in the direction that Marion was pointing in, but her gaze traveled past the bar and landed on Sean, who was coming in through a side door. A bunch of strangers surrounded him.

The Night Palace was dimly lit, with strobing lights that flashed and blinked. Angeline could barely see Marion's face clearly, even though she was standing right before her. Yet, she spotted Sean immediately.

The blue and purple lighting and the strobing white lights seemed to dance across his chiseled features, but the wild chaos that permeated the atmosphere did not appear to reach his cold, impassive expression.

Sean's shirt, tie, vest, and suit were perfectly in place. His pants looked as if they had just been ironed, and he wore a cold expression as he walked amid a reverent crowd. He walked straight toward an elevator on the first floor, which a staff member guarded.

There was a sharp contrast between him and the other patrons.
