It wasn't like Sean didn't have a plan for Melissa. Despite what the general public thought, he had no intention of merging Kingston Empire and Trustworth Group. He temporarily managed them together out of convenience, but both companies had different senior executives and operating strategies.

Trustworth Group belonged to Melissa. When she met someone she liked in the future and got married, he would return the company to her. He would also always be her kin and the strongest supporter she would ever have.

If Melissa remained single for the rest of her life, he would adopt a child for her. He would arrange for someone to raise and nurture the child to take over Trustworth Group eventually. Then, he would ensure the child cared for Melissa until the day she died.
