Killian's POV

I couldn't say anything to Susan. She had this idea in her head that I was a bad person. To her I was horrible just because I didn't want to get married to Paula.

And the truth is, when someone already thinks the worst about you there was nothing you could do to change their idea about you and it was the same for Susan.

I didn't want to exchange words with her, there were more important things to waste my time on than that so I decided to do something better with my time.

I took the tray from her when she was done. She probably gave up on trying to make me see from her point of view whilst I didn't care if nobody understood where I was coming from.

I took the tray and walked back to my room. Before I entered, the thought of checking up on Paula came into my mind and I wanted to go to her but I was still very angry with her and I didn't want her to misinterpret what was going on.

So I just decided to go to my room.
