Chapter 310

Tyler strode inside.

The bedroom was dark, all the lights were turned off.

The faint moonlight came in from the window.

He immediately noticed the slender figure lying against the windowsill.

“Kels?” Tyler called out softly.

However, Kelsey was already asleep and did not respond.

Tyler drew closer until he was right next to her, then he called softly, “Kelsey?”

Kelsey’s eyelashes flickered briefly, then slowly opened her eyes.

“You're back?”

She was slightly startled by Tyler’s sudden appearance. Then she smiled faintly at him.

Tyler bent over and took her into his arms.

“It's a cold night, you shouldn’t be sleeping right next to the window.”

A trace of concern flashed across his eyes while he gently settled her onto the bed in the living room.

Kelsey fixed a look on him, the hazel in her eye shone. “I was waiting for you.”

Tyler felt warm and fuzzy inside.

“I’m sorry, I was late,” he whispered a sincere apology.
