Kelsey scrutinized Cooper’s expression. Surprisingly, it did not seem like he was lying.

Either Cooper and Cerys were truly not well acquainted with each other or he had gotten better at lying. Even though Kelsey had lived two lives, she still had trouble reading the man.

She narrowed her eyes and asked again, “Not close to her? Could you explain to me why Cerys' final design for Runway Revolution is the same as mine?”

Something stirred in Cooper’s eyes again. His expression grew inscrutable.

“Kel, are you suspecting me?” he asked without pleasure.

“Don’t you deserve to be suspected?” Kelsey asked with a sharp sneer.

After all, Cooper had an ongoing affair with his brother’s wife, Rhea.

There was always the possibility that he had something going on with his brother’s mistress, Cerys as well.

What other explanation was there for Cerys somehow managing to plagiarize her draft?
