Madam Young had been in the nursing home for several years.

Charlie rarely showed up to visit her at all.

It was rare even for him to call during the holidays just to check on her.

There had only been less than a handful of times when he even bothered to show up to visit in the last few years Madam Young had been in the nursing home.
