Kelsey finally felt an immense wave of relief upon hearing this.

Since Tyler had told her that there was nothing going on between him and Zara, she would believe him.

Then, she looked at him affectionately. “Are we going somewhere to continue our date now?”

Tyler gently patted her head. “I’m taking you back to my house.”

“We’re going home?”

Kelsey did a double take.

They had finally gotten engaged. Should they not be celebrating it somewhere?

Tyler noticed her disappointment and quickly coaxed her in a gentle, assuring tone. “There’s something I need to attend to in the office. Let me take you home to get some rest first, then we’ll go out for dinner together tonight.”

Kelsey reluctantly nodded upon hearing this.

“Alright, you need to get to work, it’s important!”

Since she was engaged to him, she had to learn to be understanding and accommodating.
