Gary looked at her face and though she had a beautiful appearance, he didn't know her, and staring at such an unfamiliar face scared him.

She seized him tightly and gazed at him, her smirk slowly disappeared. He looked so much like his father, and that haunted her more than she expected. It wasn't the time to feel guilty, but she couldn't help her emotions.

“Daddy,” Gary called nervously. He looked back at the bodyguard to save him from this woman, but the bodyguard showed no concern.

“You should take him away from here before his absence is noticed,” He said to Wendy, who was somehow lost in a trance-like state.

Wendy jerked out of her emotional state and decided to focus on getting Gary to the drug dealer. She could live without Gary till the day of her death, but she couldn't live without drugs.

Those substances were an escape from reality. Life was difficult when she tried to stop, and she wasn't attempting that ever again.

Wendy raised Gary in her arms, but the boy began sc

Wendy was scared to death, she had never been so afraid in her entire life. “Please don't do that, I beg you. I understand that you've grown impatient because of my numerous excuses, but I promise to get the boy, I won't fail again” Wendy said, with tears trickling out of the sides of her eyes and flowing down her temples. “Why do you suddenly care about the child whom you sold for money? Well, your poor motherhood skills aren't any of my business, but this would be the last warning I will give you” He threatened and raised himself. “If I don't get my money within a few days, I promise that not even your remains will be found” He spat and released her neck. Wendy gasped loudly and wrapped her hands gently around her neck before coughing boisterously. The drug dealer left with the other men he had come with. Wendy stayed on the couch, crying her eyes out. She recalled his words and felt so scared. She might not need Gary, but she didn't want him to die. She regretted making such

Hastily, Lydia rushed to the door, locked and went back to him. They kissed and couldn't get enough of each other. He pulled her much closer, and Lydia knelt in between his parted legs. Carson grasped her ass and she moaned. He took his hands under her skirt and pulled down her panties. Lydia shivered when his fingers rubbed her ass, he began massaging her ass cheeks, making her moan and pull away from the kiss. She placed her forehead on his and moaned softly as his hands kept pressing her soft ass cheeks. One of his hands diverted to her pussy and she felt two of his fingers on her clit. Lydia squirmed and held on to his shoulders, she thought he was going to thrust his fingers into her or something like that, but instead, he began rubbing his fingers against her pussy. “Mmmhhh….” Lydia moaned, and her ass kept going back and forth as his finger rubbed against her pussy. “Carson … .aaah" she let out a more audible moan as the pace of his fingers increased, he kept rubbing her

The man wearing a black shirt and jacket along with black trousers and a cap, making him look more creepy, took Lydia in his arms and stared at her beautiful face. “Would have loved to see more of your pretty eyes?” He said and smiled sinisterly. The driver chuckled, he was part of the orchestrated kidnap. “I would have loved to drive a Range Rover, but I ended up riding in a cab, how impeccable?” the driver complained and smirked. “You should move faster because this rubbish of a transport might be your coffin” the other one taunted.****George was in his office, doing some work when his phone rang. He ignored it at first, trying to focus on his present failure of not being able to make some investors invest their money in his business. “Bloody hell!” George frowned and slammed his pen on the table. He grabbed his phone from the right side of the table and rested backward before answering it. "Hello”''George, it's Marian,” Marian said over the phone. “To what do I owe this

George opened his mouth to give more instructions, but he closed it.“Follow me” George ordered and sauntered out of the room. The man followed George behind, however, when they reached downstairs, his steps came to a halt at the sight of a woman. “Alma, what are you doing here?” George questioned in shock. He had no plans to involve her in this. “That question should be directed at you because I had no idea of this mansion and what the heck you are doing in it?” Alma said in displeasure. When she saw him sneaking out of the bed and leaving the house, she decided to follow him and discover what evil he was involved in. She looked around the mansion and became more upset. She thought that George never hid secrets from her, but it was obvious that he was up to no good. Was he cheating on her? Or had done something treacherous that had to stay hidden? “George, speak to me!”George turned to the man and raised his eyebrows, signaling him to leave them. The man quickly understood an

Carson managed to turn the steering wheel and sway from the vehicle, his car rotated again and again, luckily for him, there were no other cars in front of him. He was able to press the brakes and bring the car to a stop. Carson gasped as his body jerked forward, but his seat belt pushed him back to the seat. Carson let out deep breaths and inevitably caused a traffic jam. He wondered why that car was going the wrong way. These days, he always thought of everything to be some plot to end his life or bring harm to him. The beeping of the car horns grew louder and Carson had to leave. He started the car and brought it back to its normal position. He inhaled deeply and drove more slowly towards the place. Unknown to him, he was heading to the wrong dwelling. He went to Wendy's apartment because he suspected that she had a hand in Lydia's disappearance. Driving to her apartment, his eyes caught the men and boys that stayed by the roadside. He knew this area was too safe, but he didn

'You must be kidding me' Carson hissed and hung up. Hearing the word 'father' greatly annoyed him. His father and he never used to have a terrible relationship but things turned sour when his twin died. Carson desired to care for Gary and continue with his law firm but his father wanted him to take over the company since his brother committed suicide. The matter had gotten old but there would always be a grudge between them. He had not spoken to his father for two years, and all of a sudden, he would dare approach him for assistance. That would be a stupid mistake. His father would never listen to him or help him and Carson would certainly never go to him for help if his father was being stubborn about him taking over the company. It has never been in his dictionary to take over his father's company. He is a lawyer and that's what he loves to do. The doorbell rang and Carson's eyes widened. He rushed to the door but when he opened it, his eyes rolled instantly. "Just return to y

Lydia was shivering terribly, tears were trickling from her eyes. She was not too terrified of the water that could kill her with a single wave, but of the pain and anguish that she would never see her family again. They would mourn for her and wouldn't even have her corpse. She would only be in their memories, and that would hurt Carson deeply. 'What if he commits suicide like his brother when he discovers my death? What would happen to Gary and Khloé? How would Khloé cope without me? Wouldn't George have more rights to claim my little girl?' These thoughts ran through her mind, making her shed painful tears. “Please, I… I…have a daughter at home who needs me, and I'm sure… that you also have a family somewhere…” “I will take those as your final words and if I ever see your daughter, I'll fuck her and then tell her your final words,” He said, insanely. “She's just six, you bastard!” As he was about to vent his rage on her and push her into the water. A bullet penetrated his he

Carson carried Lydia in his arms and took her into the house. He called Nick to examine her, and his friend happily obliged. Carson sat beside her unconscious body and waited for Nick to arrive. Ma'am Anny who had seen Lydia, was happy, but she stopped the children from seeing their mother because of the bad state she was in. Nick finally came, and he checked on Lydia and treated some of her wounds. Luckily, he detected no internal wounds but insisted that Carson brought her to the hospital, once she awakened. “When will she wake up?” Carson questioned and looked lovingly at Lydia. “In a few hours. I'm so glad that she's back, though injured but at least, she's safe” Nick smiled and stared at Lydia as well. “Me too” Carson nodded, he took his hand to Lydia's hair and stroked it gently. “I'm going to find those culprits and destroy them without thinking twice. Their case shouldn't end in court but be taken personally” Carson said with vindictiveness. Nick shook his head and adv

The next morning, Lydia woke up by Carson's side. She had a beautiful and joyful smile on her lips. Waking up by his side was the most amazing thing ever, and the scent of cologne was still on him. She brought her nose close to his chest and nuzzled him. Lydia grinned and raised her hand, she stared at the beautiful ring. “My name is Mrs. Lydia Walters' Lydia chuckled and kissed her ring. “It's so beautiful.” She was still staring at her ring when she suddenly had the urge to vomit, she touched her stomach as it churned. “Did I eat something wrong yesterday? Lydia pouted her lips. The nauseating feeling stopped for a while, but then the bile rushed up her throat and she couldn't keep it in. She rushed out of the bed and threw up into the sink. The sounds of vomiting woke Carson up. He wanted to sleep back but realized something was wrong with his wife. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. He asked her, worriedly. “Love, are you alright?” He still heard her throwing up and had to

One can't stick to a technique and tactic all the time. Carson returned to his seat and called a prison warder inside to listen to what he had said. George had killed a man, strangled him during the traffic, and taken his cab as a means of transportation. Presently, he walked to Mrs. Isobel's limp body and carried her into the back seat of the cab. He closed the door and entered the front seat. He wasn't ready to drive her anywhere in particular, he would make sure that he was far from a place where the cops could find him. He would question her in the car, but he had to wait till she awakened. He had planned to lie to Alma that he couldn't stand the boredom and had to leave the cabin. Anyway, she believed every lie he spoke.George drove for a long while before parking near a certain roadside, he waited till she awakened, which happened a few minutes after the drive. “Hm,” Mrs. Isobel moaned in pain. She felt a pounding pain in the back of her head, her hand reached for it and there was a little bloodstain. “Oh my God” She cried and slowly sat up, her blurry eyes cleared little by little. “Who are you?” Mrs. Isobel asked i

“Why are you smirking? Do you find the situation amusing or what?” Alma frowned at him. “I'm sorry, but I've thought about my decision, and I'm ready to accept your suggestion for plastic surgery,” George stuttered.Alma screamed excitedly and hugged him tightly.“That's the spirit, I'm so glad that you have thought more carefully about my proposal. I promise you that once you do this surgery and probably practice how to change other things about yourself. Everything would be great” Alma giggled. “The cops would be off your back and the both of us can travel the world after our wedding.” George rolled his eyes but faked a laugh. “I won't do the surgery now, give me some time to have my face then after a few days from now, I can do the surgery” George smiled and pushed her away from him. “I'm so happy” Alma clapped excitedly and tilted her head from side to side like a child. “I'm not too happy about losing my handsome face, but it's worth the change,” George said and acted like

“No, I'm not interested in altering my appearance” George disagreed firmly. “Why? It's a suitable option for you never to be found, why would you lose such a chance, just to stay locked up in this wretched cabin” Alma argued with him. “I'm not interested in continuing the conversation, I won't change my appearance to fort anything in this world. The best thing I love seeing when I look at my reflection in the mirror is my face and nothing more” George said and turned his face away from her. Alma gasped and was offended by his selfishness. “I want you to have a free life, we can fake your death that you were found and killed. It would make a lot of sense when I start dating the new you. Why are you acting so selfishly towards me?” Alma said, her voice cracking at the end of her statement. “I'm not being selfish but standing by my own rules. “What did you just say?” Lydia panicked and sprang up. That news was so unexpected and shocking, she never expected to hear that the man who had ruined her life was out of prison, free to do the unimaginable. “How did he come out of prison? What exactly happened?” Evelyn asked, worried over the safety of Lydia. Carson shook his head. “I still don't know, but I'm going to that fucking prison to find out.” “How can he escape in just a week of being there? Many people have spent a decade trying to escape prison but haven't been able to, how can he make it seem so easy?” Evelyn asked questions that couldn't be answered by any of them. “The kids, we left the kids alone,” Lydia said agitated, and tried running out of the church. Carson held her back and pulled her into a hug. She was anxious, and her breathing had fastened like she was on the verge of having a panic attack. “There's nothing to be scared about, the children are secured, but George can be capricious. The kids were done with their exams, and they were at home. It was the weekend, Saturday specifically, and Lydia stayed at home. The kids weren't easy to control at all, Lydia realized how much they refused to listen to her. They listened more to Mrs. Isobel. This made Lydia a bit jealous and angry. She had to give Mrs. Isobel some hours off so that she could take care of the kids herself. “Both of you, sit down!” Lydia instructed and pointed at the couch. Gary and Khloé went to have a sit, seeing that their mother was more serious than ever. “It's not good to prove stubborn towards your parents, it causes sadness. Do you want Mommy to be sad?” Lydia pouted at her lips after speaking. They both shook their heads. “Alright, since you don't want me to be sad, then listen,” Lydia said. “It's truly depressing when I keep talking and you both keep disrespecting me by not listening!” “What are you supposed to do?” Lydia asked, looking angry, though she wasn't so angry.
