KATYA
I ran through the forest as fast as my legs could carry me. There was nowhere for me to go, and there was no one to accept me but I was running. The forest was deep and thick, there were tall trees everywhere. The sun was shining brightly since it was early noon.Arden had set me free, one of his men came and opened the gate before leaving. He believed his daughter was still alive, what a fool!A part of me hated that statement. Arden wasn't a fool. Perhaps he couldn't bare to watch me get killed.Perhaps he truly loved me.I was contemplating these things when I heard ruffles behind me. I was now drinking water by the sea which was after the forest. I planned to go to the next pack to seek refuge and hide until my next plan.Turning around, I saw a masked man walking toward me. Remembrance took me by the horn, exploiting me. Memories flooded my head as I saw the tall, and huge man walked toward me with a sword in his hand.“You told your men to set me free, why are you here?” I asked looking at him as he walked toward me. My heart beat fast as he came nearer and nearer. His calculating eyes watching me.“Did you come here to kill me?” I asked before scoffing.“Why do you wear a mask when you want to do evil?” I asked. The day he forced himself on me, he was wearing the same mask.Arden came close to me, he snaked one hand behind my waist and pulled me closer. My eyes went into his familiar eyes and the memory of him digging himself into me that day came back.Almost immediately, I felt a sharp object pierce my belly and I groaned as the blade slid through effortlessly. I looked into his eyes as blood spurt from me.Painfully, I held his shirt and groaned. Please stop the pain.Stop it.All the pain I had ever felt came all at once, which made my tears roll out of my eyes.Damn it!My hands slip off his shirt as I fell to my knees. Arden removed his sword from my belly at the same time and I whined before looking up at him. Again, he brought his sword down and plunge then it into my belly, the same spot.ArghhhI moaned in pain.Death waved at me from afar. Pain turned my body to its abode, and I watched my blood spurt out of me like tap water.Suddenly, everywhere became blurry but I could see many colors like a rainbow. Is this was death was like?Perhaps the moon goddess was trying to make my death a remarkable one. Probably to compensate me for all the pain I had gone through.Katya, it's okay, we are finally going to be happy now.I lied to myself, smiling as the angel of death spread out its arms ready to escort me to the afterlife.* *It was dark at first until I felt kicks in my belly. Antagonizing pain welcomed me back, I kept feeling pain all through my body - spreading across.Kick!Kick!Kick! It kept coming all over. It didn't spare any part of my body, it felt like it wasn't just one kick but two and three and four, and many more.Blood!Blood!Blood! There was blood everywhere as I opened my eyes, it wouldn't stop rushing out of me, and as much as I wanted to scream out in pain, I couldn't.Make it stop.Make it stop. Please, it was too much for me to bare.“Should you even be alive? You look ugly and you're worthless. If anyone loved you, you wouldn't be abandoned in this school on government funds!” Another kick came but this time I didn't feel it.No, I felt it but not in the way I felt it previously. I saw some girl across me, and then my eyes widened when I saw a girl on the floor, blood oozing out from her. She looked tired and weak. Taking in my environment, I saw that I was on the rooftop.I recognized the girl very well, I knew her because this girl was a part of me. She developed in my womb for seven months and eventually came out of me. She was my daughter, Chelsea.“Stop hurting her!” I screamed with tears in my eyes before running to the scene. I crouched in front of her and wanted to touch her but all my hand took was the air. Then I tried again, and again until I got frustrated. Tears grew in my eyes because I couldn't touch my daughter.“You ugly wench, you should have died in your mother’s womb. You could have gone to school for disabled but you chose to come here, why?” Another kick hit my daughter in the belly and I cried, slapping the air in frustration.“Stop, please stop. Make all these stop!” I cried looking at the bullies in front of my daughter. At this point I was helpless, I could only beg for them to stop. This was what the mid-wife warned me about, she said my daughter wouldn't live a good life but I insisted for her to be kept alive.I promised I was going to take care of her.I asked her how school was, I checked on her every day but she kept telling me school was okay. Chelsea, why did you lie to me?Chelsea. The bullies kicked my daughter repeatedly and blood kept slipping out of her mouth. Looking to my right I saw hot iron, buzzers and the likes. Without anyone telling me I knew they had used it in my daughter. How come I never knew this? I checked her body everyday, how come I never knew?!!“What are you going to do after this Chelsea? Are you going to use foundation to cover the marks again because of your mommy? Aww, mamas little baby!” Another of the bully mocked which was the final straw.I got really mad.How dare you bitch!I stood, my hands balled beside me and I was ready to have someone’s head to the ground.KATYA.I got really mad. How dare you bitch! I stood, my hands balled beside me and I was ready to have someone’s head to the ground. “Don't waste your energy, it's not going to affect her.” A voice sounded behind me, and I turned quickly, shocked that someone could see me. I thought I’d turned invisible. “Please, tell them to stop,” I uttered as I turned, caring less that the person before me was dressed in a white costume like an angel. She had white hair, white nails, and even white skin - not like a vampire- she was damn pretty. “They can't hear me either.” The woman looked at the bullies who continued to bully my daughter. “What?” I paused.“Are you a ghost too?” I asked. Yes, I knew I had died and possibly, I was a ghost now. The universe probably took me here to see the person I loved the most for the last time before I was escorted to the afterlife. The woman brought her face back to me, she looked at me with a fierce - angry expression but it didn't really seem like a
KATYA. Pain. Pain. I could only feel pain. Nothing but pain. “Is she alive?” I heard voices. Then I heard footsteps. I heard beeping. Annoying beeping of machines, loud in my ears, terrorizing me. Make it stop! Make it fucking stop! I wanted to scream but I couldn't. My eyes only went wide open, and I could see my surroundings but I couldn't let out any reactions. On my face, I felt something attached to it, like it was stuck to my face and it was uncomfortable. I tried to touch it but it was impossible. I couldn't lift my hands or anything else. Just then, someone rushed into the room. It was my adoptive mother, Jennie.“Chelsea! Chelsea!” She called and rushed to me. Chelsea?! I asked myself. “No, ma’am, you can't touch her.” I heard one of the people beside me utter. “Why is there a bandage on her face? What is wrong with her? She just lost her mother, nothing should happen to her!” I heard my adoptive mother cry. No, Mom, I wasn't dead. It's Chelsea that died. I ut
KATYA.I had become so pretty. No, Chelsea was so beautiful. The distortion on her face was gone, one eyes was no longer bigger than the other and I could see her green eyes with silver orbs. Jennie was shocked to see me looking beautiful. She was the one that raised Chelsea hence she was very familiar with her face. It was kind of hard for her to accept the new face but I saw that she was genuinely happy for me. Finally, it was time to go home. Jennie came and picked me up. The only thing I had on my mind was to get my revenge on those that killed my daughter. I didn't care if my daughter had done wrong in her previous life, I was going to make those girls pay. Getting home, Jennie helped me to Chelsea’s room. “How are you feeling Chelsea?” She asked as I walked in, looking around. “Uhm, about your mother...” She trailed, not meeting my gaze when I turned to her. “I don't know, I don't feel anything now.” It wasn't a lie, I wasn't feeling anything. It wasn't my mother that di
CHELSEA.Instead of listening to Arden and whatever explanation he had cooked up between those few minutes of him realizing I know the dark he did to my mother - me - I turned to Jennie. “I want to go to my father now, he is going to hurt you if I don't,” I uttered the words out loud, caring less if he heard me. Jennie nodded her head, tears grew in her eyes and then she pulled me in a deep hug. I was going to miss Jennie too, she had been a good mother, friend, and company. After the little hug from Jennie, I went and packed my bag before going with Arden. He came with his car. “You can sit beside me.” I heard his voice sound a few steps before we reached the car. I didn't respond to him, I went and sat in the back. Yes, I would do the opposite of what he wants. This man killed me, I don't care, I would never listen to him or even be good to him. He plunged his fucking sword in my stomach twice until the life went out of me. Just the thought of that makes me sick to the stomach.
CHELSEAIt's been a week since I got back to the pack house, and I have been in my room either crying or telling myself that I’d be fine. There were days that I was confident and some other days, I was just like salt soluble in water.Rolling over the bed because someone kept knocking behind my door. “Come out, Chelsea. It's your first day of school!” Arden’s voice sounded behind the door. I groaned and rolled over again before sitting up with a frown. Pretty sure that witch called Anna went to get him because I didn't answer her. It wasn't like Arden could do anything to get me off the bed. Pretty sure he had been avoiding me like the plague ever since the first day that I showed him I know what he did to my mother - Me. After a relaxing bath, I got into the school uniform and then picked up my bag. Whenever I look at my face in the mirror, I gasp - aside from not seeing myself - Chelsea was gorgeous. I wish I birthed her with this look, she would have been the Queen bee of her sc
CHELSEA. Grey introduced me to the popular kids of the school, there were cheer captains, beauty queens, and the rest. However, they all looked like chickens to me. I could easily kill any of them, I just have to choose the most gullible of them all. The first class was nice because I am pretty and the Alpha’s daughter. A part of me couldn't help but wonder if Chelsea ever experienced the good side of school. No matter what, I am a mother - I feel the pain for my daughter and that pain might never go away. “Get your shit off my desk!” I heard someone say in front of me and then I looked up and saw a young girl with flour all over her body. “How dare you speak to the Alpha’s daughter that way, scholarship fund!” Grey’s girlfriend and the cheer captain, Monica came to my rescue. The young girl gently looked up, the flour on her body bounced off her short hair and spread in the air like dust. Her eyes were puffy and red. “Tell your Alpha’s daughter to get the hell off my seat or I
ARDEN “I can handle her, I watch over her at the party and you can go to the Alpha’s meeting. You can't miss the meeting you know that.” Karlos voice sounded as he walked closer. “Yes, I can't and I won't. However, I need to be sure that she's safe from the prying hands of those high schoolers. Come with me, I have a plan.” I walked out of the room and Karlos followed. We got into the car and I drove to the pack high school. When we got there, Karlos looked at me. “What are we doing here?” I didn't answer him and got out of the car. He ran after me and then held me by the shoulder. “You are not actually going to threaten those male kids?” He glared at me. “No, how can I stoop so low?” I smirked and then walked into the school. I saw the principal and told him to assemble every male in the school to the basketball court. “If any of you want to come to my daughter’s party tonight, you would have to take one pill of Ketobane right now.” I took out a bag of the drug from the tabl
CHELSEA. Arden didn't come back nor did Karlos, whatever had held them down was certainly on my side. It was easier to throw the party except the bitch called Anna was around. While the pack assistant was helping me set up, she walked down the stairs with an annoyed face. She walked toward me when I was instructing one of the assistants on what to help me with. “Your father does not want you to go on with this party.” She looked at me with a disgusted expression. No hate, she disgusts me as well. “Anna, stay out of this, please.” I made my move to walk past her, not wanting to have such a discussion with her. However, she pulled me back by my hair and I groaned as my scalp ached terribly. I held my head and had to give in to her push or my hair would be off my scalp. After she successfully pushed me back, she moved closer to me with a seething face. “Stop this party from happening or I am going to descend on you!” She poked my chest and then walked back to wherever she came from.
