No sooner had Morpheus submitted to Robert than word had spread of what the king had done. Some were excited about the change in leadership, others were not mainly the elders who said it was outrageous and the proper protocol should have been enforced.

Protocol my ass. The elders are supposed to not only help with advising the king; they are also to maintain the rules and safety of the pack. You can’t do one without the other. From what Lita and Anya told me, the elders only did what they thought was best for them. Of course, it helped that these disgusting men also had access to the king’s harem and funds from the treasury.

If I’m being totally honest, this kingdom is vile. Robert has his work cut out for him in bringing order and stopping the corruption that runs deep here. Morpheus was a weak king. He was only doing what he thought was best for him and nobody else.
