Robert POV.

Listening to the reports from the board members. Some human and the rest are wolf. I rub my chest as the ache is getting worse. Must have been the food I had for lunch. The pain grows. Reaching for the glass of water, my hand shakes.

Biting the inside of my cheek to stop myself from groaning. The sooner this investigation is complete I can get back to my girls. The thought of them both makes me smile.

Nero whines in my head and I know something is most definitely wrong. This isn’t heartburn.
